@Richard33878882 @craigreucassel @NBN_Australia It’ll be the NBN network termination device (NTD) that has failed, not his modem/router. There are a variety of these are used on FTTP, FTTC, HFC and fixed wireless installs. NBNCo operates these units inside your property, and only they can service/replace them.

  • twistieman Tristan Davey (@twistieman) reported from Townsville, State of Queensland

We need to invest in huge nation-building projects; a national grid to support renewables, divestment in fossil-fuel base load, a renewed NBN with speed guarantees and equal access for every Australian, a high-speed rail network to connect Australia’s major centres.

@TPG_Telecom what is going on with nbn connection in Semaphore Park, SA? No service since approx 7pm and still nothing.

  • RinaIsBad 🌈 Rina (@RinaIsBad) reported

@psyOPs_ @NBN_Australia Yeah, it's very likely an issue somewhere between the DPU, the pit, and the link. FTTC is a nightmare and I really really wish they'd just done FTTP like the other half of my suburb has.

  • Sezz525 Sarah Wenzel (@Sezz525) reported

@TPG_Telecom what is going on with nbn connection in melbourne? No service since approx 7pm and still nothing. I’m unable to complete my work and this is now becoming an issue. What is ETA? Website says 5:30am Friday but that is not acceptable as an outage of over 10 hrs

  • JeffCarlsburg Jeff (@JeffCarlsburg) reported

@NBN_Australia Internet out for 24 hours. Help please!

  • bazblow baz the brick (@bazblow) reported

So as a Telstra customer I am paying a extra $50 over my old plan to join NBN to cover the cost of free calls , Via a public phone ..! Really , this is too much !!

  • triefus Lean Too (@triefus) reported

@QandA the ABC must be using the NBN judging by the poor sound quality of the international guests

  • HemmensJudez Judez 🐊 (@HemmensJudez) reported

@jonzoidberg @Foxtel @NBN_Australia Did you get it fixed? I’m having the same issue

  • BullshitNatural Natural Organic Bullshit (@BullshitNatural) reported

@BTheorists It's a bigger ****** than the NBN but not as bad as the failure to address climate change.

  • RinaIsBad 🌈 Rina (@RinaIsBad) reported

@NBN_Australia That's cool. I get that there are structures in place. We're at the point where we need to look at the pit and the actual fibre link. My house has been recabled twice. From the phone jack to the DPU, everything is brand new. We're in month 3 of this issue. It's frustrating.

  • geoffreygrigg Geoffrey Grigg (@geoffreygrigg) reported

@Telstra Sean, Considering the Telstra bottom line over the past decade (or two) one wonders why it's taken so long. Virtue signalling and 'dog food' for the desperate does nothing for Telstra's abysmal customer service reputation, over pricing, or the disaster that is the NBN.
