@iiNet since Friday speed has slowed to snail pace. Timed out before I could download speed test. Help!

For my Aussie friends: watch out for a cheeky invoice from @Iinet. We closed our account several years ago (we moved the office so no longer needed their service). For some reason, they sneakily decided to start invoicing us again this month...

@iiNet @SixersBBL You lied to us about the connection. You have cancelled appointments. You are a terrible isp.

@IanWoolf @iiNet OK, and just again, why such a big difference between down and upload. HFC is only available in limited urban areas I think?

Today I switched to @aussie_bb after 11 years with @iinet, because ii doesn't work well with Google Wifi. What a stellar experience. Easy UX, all set up within a couple of hours. Had to make a call to stop them blocking my ports but they handled it really well.

Customer of @iiNet for 11 years yet after one month of promises you have not helped resolve a critical issue with our landline!!??

@iiNet this morning, you have cancelled my service, without my authorisation, issued me a credit note for $85, and now, are asking for me to pay to reinstate my cancelled service! If it wasn't so critical due to WFH, it would almost be funny. You've got an hour to call me back!😡

@iiNet I’ll send you my details. Last night on likely our 15th phone call we spent nearly 2 hours on the phone to tech support and were told this would definitely be connected today. It’s still not. Still circling through the downstream searching.

@IanWoolf @iiNet Why is there such a huge difference bt/n down and up? What sort of NBN do you have?
-
Dave The Happy Singer
(@HappySinger) reported
@laurenmartyn @Aussie_BB @iiNet To be fair to ii, if it's a technical fault with the line, they might not be able to do much other than escalate it to the NBN. But: Aussie's signup and service so far have been stellar if you do decide to move.
