David M Goll -Dà Wěi #IlikeAnthonyAlbanese (@sytrader) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@iiNet I got no response from any website or iPad app that uses internet including bank apps both here at my home and later when I was at the coffee shop where my iPad connects to their wifi! Seems to be working ok now! But I still resent having to pay 30%+ extra for a crap service!
-
Jay Ball (@JayBallzup) reported from Melbourne, VictoriaHey @iiNet Why is your service status map reporting everything is fine at postcode 3156 when I, for the 4th time in 5 days, am again without internet due to an “outage”.
-
Tiffany Carroll (@PacIsLiving) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@iiNet They weren’t able to help unfortunately. Really bad at over promising and under delivering.
-
Duyen Ho (@duyenho) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@iiNet Sure. Here’s an invoice number 118495392. One of your reps also tried to call and the phone cut out. Not a good day for comms.
-
Joe Connell (@josephsconnell) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@WillTaylorNZ @NBN_Australia @iiNet Yea that’s not a good term. It’s basically mobile broadband caught by a modem and turned into a wifi signal
-
Serena.S. (@mojopin66) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@iiNet TBH I've been having dropouts and very slow speeds for a long time now but have been using my 4G and putting up with it. No old phone I can test with. Am in an apartment block, wonder if it's the line itself that's carked it.
-
inFeZa: Classic (@inFeZa) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@TheyCallHimX @iiNet Ditched them month one because they don't buy enough bandwidth so peak is unusable, kept asking for my logs basically said forget it. Went to Aussie broadband and never looked back
-
Wayne Murphy (@waynecmurphy) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@jedistocky @slpng_giants_oz @iiNet Glad I switched. @iiNet's service and customer service were going down the toilet, and now I see the support Sky. Puke.
-
Matt Parker (@matt_j_parker) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@iiNet Not getting much help from that number, to be honest. But they are recognising the constant dropouts. The service is more or less unusable for us
-
Michael Carmody (@EmJaeCaer) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@HyperionPlays @GutsOCE @Swip3rR @iiNet @Aussie_BB @TPG_Telecom NEVER. EVER. TAKE. THE. FREE. ROUTER. FROM. YOUR. ISP. It is worth every cent that you paid for it.
-
Rachel Moran (@Rachelmor94) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@iiNet second outage in as many months.... starting to wonder why I’m still with you
-
bruce baxter (@brucebax) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@iiNet very upset, been without any internet since the 28/12 and the earliest you can send a technician is the 10th??? Very poor, also perhaps someone can tell me how is it can log into my toolbox without internet and view task information being uploaded?
-
Vap0urz (@vap0urz) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@iiNet This is now the 2nd or 3rd time that I have had to contact / make publicly aware that your product and/or services are ridiculously unrealistic. Fake apologies are useless. I’m sorry to say it but fix your ******* shit!
-
-
Nick Ivanovski (@nivanovski) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@iiNet Thanks again... though the dropouts are back again. Have turned off connection box and modem for at least 60s... checked to see if it is a signal issue by staying close to the modem. No luck.
-
🇯🇵ジャパンダマン 🍐 ANIMAL CROSSING (@Japandaman71) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@iiNet Well your lack of service forced me onto NBN. It really isn’t acceptable to throttle my speed from double digits down to 1 or 3kbps...consistently over a number of years.
-
Beags (@B_e_agle) reported from Melbourne, VictoriaNBN woes part 2: given up all hope with iiNet after finding out that a) I had to use a different account that I didn't know existed, and b) organise an appointment for another technician to visit. Jumped over to Aussie Broadband and hoping that will fix this whole mess up
-
Neil Killick (@neil_killick) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@StoneAdam @iiNet @eatdrinkwatch Yup, ombudsman is the way to go. This always happens with a connection fault - the provider blames NBN and vice versa, no one accountable, no one resolves the issue. You will get it resolved once the TIO is involved, and decent compensation.
-
Kit McMahon (@kitmcmahon) reported from Melbourne, VictoriaHey @iiNet just wondering if there is an outage around the Essendon Moonee Ponds area now?
iiNet Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Stuart (@stueyissickofit) reportedOk @iiNet I can't access my eSim through toolbox, but you can't cancel it, and I can't transfer it, so I am stuck paying for a phone that I can't use, and then when I call up customer service, no manager or supervisor will speak with me. This has been going on for months.
-
johnjet1 (@johnjet0) reported@iiNet Discord voice (UDP) stuck on RTC Connecting / No Route on iinet NBN—bypasses instantly with Cloudflare WARP. Known issue with other AU ISPs this week.
-
NiceMemeBroxD (@Anothergamer00) reported@pduthie_au @iiNet @iiNet I'm having the same issue, and it's been going on for 5+ hours. Some help would be greatly appreciated.
-
Toast (@VelZeNZ) reported@iiNet @VocusComm what happened to support for bizphone? No client comms, no support, no ability to make changes or add handsets… after 11 years of working together, out of necessity to maintain telephony it’s time to go elsewhere…
-
Nathan Moraza (@shwing_dusty) reportedThere is a huge amount of endurance required to cancel an @iiNet internet plan. When you speak to someone, they make the call go for so long that you might just give up and stay with them. It's a gauntlet of silly questions and tactics.
-
nbn® Australia (@NBN_Australia) reported@Books4566 @iiNet If an unplanned outage is listed, our teams will be working hard to fix it as quickly as possible and will keep your service provider updated. If no outage is shown but your service is still down, please contact your provider so they can investigate further. Thanks, Stanley 2/2
-
Anthony Widdowson 🐦 (@skyfire747) reportedThinking wether our @iiNet router needs replacing. We have the TGiiNet-1, (I think) and it is slow to get going if we ever have to turn it off and back on. Seems we have had it for 19 years and 9 months. Just wish I knew when the NBN upgrade was going to happen, still on fttn.
-
Motherofopinion (@MotherofOpinion) reported@iiNet Not good enough that I should sit on the phone for one hour and fifty six minutes to get my call answered and then another 25 to get the issue sorted. @iinet has always had the best customer service - now it’s terrible. #dobetter #customerservice
-
Rancey (@NotAlexRance) reportedIinet has been down in Geelong for the past 6 hours and there hasn't been an actual update for 4 hours what is going on?! @iiNet
-
