Got nowhere - wasted my time. For the same monthly price with @Optus went from 2Mb/s (at best) to 30Mb/s consistently.
-
Artemis Moon (@artemis_s_moon) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@iiNet Everyone loves a factory reset 😭 Fairly sure i can find a paper clip and 4 hours of my life without a help desk.
-
David M Goll -Dà Wěi #IlikeAnthonyAlbanese (@sytrader) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@iiNet I got no response from any website or iPad app that uses internet including bank apps both here at my home and later when I was at the coffee shop where my iPad connects to their wifi! Seems to be working ok now! But I still resent having to pay 30%+ extra for a crap service!
-
Tiffany Carroll (@PacIsLiving) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@iiNet They weren’t able to help unfortunately. Really bad at over promising and under delivering.

-
Daimo (@Daymeaux) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@iiNet Ever since I changed to NBN a couple of months ago, I can’t log in, says it doesn’t recognise my email address, or points of ID to get my login or reset password. Terrible!
-

Matt Parker (@matt_j_parker) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@iiNet I had to literally turn on to my phone plan to post this message. I have upward of 15 iinet/nbn people come our to ‘attempt’ to fix our connection which falls out 10 hours per day min. So we have no internet. Still paying @iinet monthly. Can someone help this disaster. Please.
-
Nick Ivanovski (@nivanovski) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@iiNet Thanks again... though the dropouts are back again. Have turned off connection box and modem for at least 60s... checked to see if it is a signal issue by staying close to the modem. No luck.
-
Anthony Rees (@AnthonyRees) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@Telstra sent me an NBN connection device. It has all the wrong connections. So I called their customer support. The automated service sent me a txt message and hung up. Time to call @iiNet
-

-
🇯🇵ジャパンダマン 🍐 ANIMAL CROSSING (@Japandaman71) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@iiNet Well your lack of service forced me onto NBN. It really isn’t acceptable to throttle my speed from double digits down to 1 or 3kbps...consistently over a number of years.
-
Beags (@B_e_agle) reported from Melbourne, VictoriaNBN woes part 2: given up all hope with iiNet after finding out that a) I had to use a different account that I didn't know existed, and b) organise an appointment for another technician to visit. Jumped over to Aussie Broadband and hoping that will fix this whole mess up
iiNet Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Baris Bektas (@Chapuller_Baris) reported@iiNet Hi iinet, I haven’t had internet connection since 5 pm. I checked your network status page and only fault seems to be at O’Connor ACT but I am in Aranda. Could the problem be wider than one suburb. If yes is there an eta?
-
Stuart (@stueyissickofit) reportedOk @iiNet I can't access my eSim through toolbox, but you can't cancel it, and I can't transfer it, so I am stuck paying for a phone that I can't use, and then when I call up customer service, no manager or supervisor will speak with me. This has been going on for months.
-
Rod L (@lavo96) reported@iiNet how do I contact you when I’m outside of the country? I have a problem with the Internet at my house in Perth and my family can’t get through to your and they need my invoice, which can’t access to due to no sms.
-
Independents in. (@Laird_Bruce) reported@iiNet just canceled my ozemail account after nearly 30 years. That’s how dreadful your service has become, how empty your promises to fix things are, and how💩 your company is. Bought a 500GB SIM from Optus, immediate 40Mbps stable connection compared to your unstable 1.5Mbps
-
Diane Dromgold (@DianeDromgold) reported@iiNet @WealthxTracey Hang on, then what is? I’m going to a lot of expense, and being frustrated by @iiNet not being willing/able to help.
-
Chris Poynter (@krisp278) reported@iiNet hey is there an issue in 2213 nothing on the network issue pages yet but we have a red light on the nbn router for optical.
-
A Bloody Nice Chap (@Abloodynicechap) reported@Telstra @iiNet No- I report faults they instantly say its NBN, yet NBN can't find any faults. 4 months at $90 dollars with no 4g back-up. Shocking service, as highlighted here. I will be over with @iiNet by the end of the month and will recommend everyone else to do likewise.
-
And yet ... (@heresisted) reportedSeriously @iiNet I sent you an email in which I clearly stated I did not have time to talk to you on the phone and yet instead of replying by email you tried to call me AND when I didn't answer YOU KEPT CALLING interrupting my work. Seriously what is your problem?
-
kalowi (@DrStuartHawkins) reportedmoved to New Zealand and @iiNet won't let me close my broadband account without verfifying identity with an Australian ID which I don't have because I am not Australian. 2 weeks of doom loop. Worst internet provider ever.
-
Julia Lawrinson (@julialawrinson) reported@iiNet I have done that. In short, I've been waiting five hours for a call back. Five. Hours. Where are your support people?
