BobtheGeo (@bobthegeo) reported@Nemspy @iiNet Mate, a business like this should be better set up to handle this. The people working to fix it are doing so because their management didn't invest properly. And no, it's not that unusual in the years I've been living here. I hate to say it but it's likely to become more common.

𝔼𝕝𝕚𝕫𝕒𝕓𝕖𝕥𝕙 (@MissLizzieZiZi) reported@iiNet @DanRead3 So when I attempt to log into my webmail and it says username/password incorrect this is because of the outage, i.e. I shouldn’t be concerned that my email account has been hacked?? #iinet #iinetdown #iinetoutage

natasha alexandra w (@nartazartaz) reported@iiNet Just to add to that when I had iiNet for internet service it took 6 months and copious amounts of phone calls to cancel my account. It was the worst experience with a provider I have ever experienced in my life and I will never use you again.

CrazyMan (@CrazyMa90086498) reported@iiNet When is the service going to be up? What are you doing to fix it?
-
Noel Dennison (@NADennison) reported@iiNet This is exactly the same pathetic communication effort as last time, beware of missing emails and don't bother asking for compensation as they will tell you email is a free service as part of the internet service provision. Might be time to change service providers after 30 yrs

admiral (@admiral02666464) reported@_Costley @iiNet Same here - 1 email has come through and nothing else for the missing time period. How about an update iiNet regards impact and if you’ll ever recover the lost emails from back up servers - if you have any. Surely you’d have a DSR site in case one goes down? ******* pedestrian.
-
natasha alexandra w (@nartazartaz) reported@iiNet my @adam.com email has been down since Friday?! It is my business email. Please advise what is happening with the mail server??
-
Dan Read (@DanRead3) reported@katling73 @iiNet I got some emails overnight - but there were none from the outage period so I suspect that any emails we got will be lost. Can you please confirm iinet??
-
Amanda Ralph (@ralphytown) reported@Paulbruning66 @GemmaTognini Still down. Has been more than 48 hours. Apparently caused by the hot weather which suggests no BCP or backup. Abysmal #iinet @iiNet

Amanda Ralph (@ralphytown) reported@iiNet @jswharton Dear John, no doubt Shane needs the same help thousands of us require. Transparent communication and an honest assessment of when we can expect to have our email service restored #iinet #iinetstilldown @acmadotgov
