@allisonBeDemure @iiNet Over 20+ years I’ve enjoyed getting prompt technical support in Australia usually. This is really unacceptable though

@PetraAu @slsandpet @iiNet The ombudsman can fine them for each day your complaint is not resolved and if they have to many days of unresolved complaints they get their arses kicked. Ombudsman in this industry has huge amount of power. Good luck

@PetraAu @iiNet Sheezus! What a merry-go-round? Had a similar problem with gmail & bills. It was a catastrophe. I managed to delete a lot of stuff via the app, using my phone. But otherwise ... Good luck with that nightmare. I have no solid advice 🤕

@PetraAu @slsandpet @iiNet Use dot points and be succinct. When I complained the ombudsman called me within 30 mins of submitting the complaint to tell me they had it and iiNet called an hour later. They have people who only deal with ombudsman complaints and issues get resolved as fast as possible.

@PetraAu @iiNet I hear you - Left Optus after 15 loyal years as a business customer to migrate to Telstra. Dreadful customer service and a similar story as yours, however, with a different issue.

@iiNet Looks like you have fixed the problem, it is working OK now, thank you

@PetraAu @iiNet I'm an iinet customer their help desk is usually unhelpful. A couple of times I've lost email access because they changed the POP3 port although my emails are working fine so I don't think they've done that. If you don't get real help ring the Telecom Industry Ombudsman.

@iiNet You should already know what is happening. Heading into day 6 not internet and a daughter doing her HSC trying to hotspot from a phone. Amazing service iiNet. Wonder if I’ll get that phone call tomorrow. @Telstra

@PetraAu @iiNet Yes, I've been watching your tweets. The whole thing is entirely stupid, but they appear to have you over a barrel. You can change providers (either of internet or just of email), but unless you keep paying iiNet, you're gonna lose any emails that people send to that address.
