@iiNet Thanks again... though the dropouts are back again. Have turned off connection box and modem for at least 60s... checked to see if it is a signal issue by staying close to the modem. No luck.

@iiNet And it’s back down again...

@iiNet Thanks for your reply Darren. If you mean when I connect from the ZyXel box to my laptop, there is no internet connection. I tried all 4 ports but I also am piggybacking my Ethernet cable to two additional adapters to make it work so that could be a problem

Sean Donovan (@seandonovan01) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

.@iiNet your cust service is woeful, Good Friday, a day B4 I move you tell me I need a tech to get my net set up, a week after being told just take your old modem and plug it in. Now I get a 2 week discount and a fob off. You’ll be cancelled the day after I get another supplier

@iiNet This is now the 2nd or 3rd time that I have had to contact / make publicly aware that your product and/or services are ridiculously unrealistic. Fake apologies are useless. I’m sorry to say it but fix your ******* shit!

@iiNet so my 5GHz network disappeared leaving me only my 2.4GHz and having to reset every device we have 🙄 Freaking. Annoying. Thanks

Hey @iiNet Why is your service status map reporting everything is fine at postcode 3156 when I, for the 4th time in 5 days, am again without internet due to an “outage”.

  • sytrader
David M Goll -Dà Wěi #IlikeAnthonyAlbanese (@sytrader) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@iiNet I got no response from any website or iPad app that uses internet including bank apps both here at my home and later when I was at the coffee shop where my iPad connects to their wifi! Seems to be working ok now! But I still resent having to pay 30%+ extra for a crap service!

  • krysbethmoore
Krystin Beth-Moore (@krysbethmoore) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

Dear @iiNet I couldn’t be happier to cancel my plan with you, after weeks of waiting and a day off of work taken so I could get my NBN connection set up, I find out that the connection is actually on short fall.

  • JayBallzup
Jay Ball (@JayBallzup) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@iiNet I’m paying for 50 down on HFC. Have had 45-49 consistently for 6 months. Now my speed has dropped to average of 25 down.

  • Chuckajoe

@iiNet hey team. After waiting for my call back I got one but the call never connected. Can you try the call back again. The call dropped out and it’s an hour wait for tech support now. Experiencing outages all day in 3030

  • seandonovan01
Sean Donovan (@seandonovan01) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@iiNet This has nothing to do with tech availability. The problem is a week ago I was told I didnt need a tech and then today I get an email saying I have a technician booking for a week and a half from now and I have no net until then

  • EmJaeCaer

@HyperionPlays @GutsOCE @Swip3rR @iiNet @Aussie_BB @TPG_Telecom NEVER. EVER. TAKE. THE. FREE. ROUTER. FROM. YOUR. ISP. It is worth every cent that you paid for it.

  • waynecmurphy
Wayne Murphy (@waynecmurphy) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@jedistocky @slpng_giants_oz @iiNet Glad I switched. @iiNet's service and customer service were going down the toilet, and now I see the support Sky. Puke.

  • JayBallzup

@iiNet Invoice 107996489 (Also I’ve just tested again and of course now it seems to be better with 47 down)

  • AdamBrownAspect
Adam Brown (@AdamBrownAspect) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@iiNet thanks (not) for calling me at 12.00 (as promised) to do this, so called, easy switch to NBN. Your complete lack of reliability and inability is overwhelming! Oh yeah, & I appreciate the wasted hours of my life on the phone with your techs so far. Time I’ll never get back!

  • CarCarLaJenkins
Carmen LahiffJenkins (@CarCarLaJenkins) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@aleeb88 @iiNet Oh dear - this is my problem too - they used to be so good! The customer service is great though!

  • Daymeaux
Daimo (@Daymeaux) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@iiNet Ever since I changed to NBN a couple of months ago, I can’t log in, says it doesn’t recognise my email address, or points of ID to get my login or reset password. Terrible!

  • daamon_parker
Daamon Parker (@daamon_parker) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@mark_barbs @iiNet Ditch them mate. I was on @iiNet and had loads of issues and was just met with bureaucratic “help”. Got nowhere - wasted my time. For the same monthly price with @Optus went from 2Mb/s (at best) to 30Mb/s consistently.

    Greg Bell (@gReb3l) reported

Hi @iiNet , I have spent literally hours on the phone trying to get your sales and provisioning team to live up to what was promised when I signed up to 5G as a temporary solution. I have repeatedly explained the fact that my lack of address eligibility for cable appears to be due to my odd address number. A fact that could confirmed by a technically competent member of your provisioning team looking at my address using Google maps. Your front line and next level staff have been convinced enough to raise it with the provisioning team multiple times. Indeed, on Friday I was promised around noon that a member of the provisioning team would call me back. “Hopefully by the end of the day”. I don’t consider the “computer says no” style text sent to me at almost exactly 5pm fulfilling the commitment made earlier in the day. As I have explained repeatedly, my landlady lives 3 houses up the street on the same side and has cable that she is very happy with. She wants exactly the same at this address. All I want is for @iinet to honour its multiple commitments to have site visits or direct contact with the provisioning team to get an explanation why. I am pretty much assuming that your provisioning team’s KPIs don’t mention customer service or satisfaction. For reference, the following “task ID’s”(?) will give your provisioning team and customer satisfaction teams all the background they need to prepare prior to contacting me by phone to get some calm, clear yet confronting feedback. 491593626 489731569 There are more but those are the most recent. You have my mobile number and I look forward to you fulfilling the commitment made on Friday to have a senior staff member call me.

  • TheLlamaKingg
    Aaron Nautilus (@TheLlamaKingg) reported

3 Weeks without internet. Several phone calls to support promising follow ups. Even gave reference numbers. No follow up. Nothing. This is crazy @iiNet

  • CryptoICTkat
    CombatCat (@CryptoICTkat) reported

@gReb3l @iiNet Mate, just get Starlink. I had issues with iiNet VDSL due to infrastructure issues outside my control, was only getting 2 - 5 Mbps when promised 70 Mbps. They refused to fix the issue and didn't want to reduce/refund bills even though weren't honouring their promise.

  • KickFozzyb3ar
    fozzyb3ar (@KickFozzyb3ar) reported

@iiNet are you guys having problems? In the last 2 hours I've had my internet drop in and out? It's kinda hard to listen to @asmr while trying to sleep with the internet like this

  • Abloodynicechap
A Bloody Nice Chap (@Abloodynicechap) reported

@Telstra There is no help there! And this doesn't answer why I pay for 4g backup when the speed is 2mbps? I will just cancel the account and move over to @iinet instead.

@iiNet is actively blocking use of @discord Discord it an important communication platform for many. This happened to us last month and after following every solution they had @discord_support, who were quick to reply to my emails, worked out to be our ****** ISP.

  • johnjet0
    johnjet1 (@johnjet0) reported

@iiNet Discord voice (UDP) stuck on RTC Connecting / No Route on iinet NBN—bypasses instantly with Cloudflare WARP. Known issue with other AU ISPs this week.

With @iiNet shutting down their Hosted Exchange on April 30th, have you decided where you're moving your emails too yet? Spoke to a few businesses this week who are either in progress or have completed their move to @Microsoft365
