When asked what further action we might consider, @iiNet failed to mention the Communications Ombudsman. That's pretty poor guys ... are we just supposed to suck it up, or something. We've been with @iiNet so long we have an @ozemail email address. 20 years +

  • 0B5ESSED Obsessive Compulsive (@0B5ESSED) reported

Because the storm had passed and connectivity returned there was apparently nothing they could do. "Call us back when/If the outage happens again." Monday night it happened again so we called @iiNet

  • 0B5ESSED Obsessive Compulsive (@0B5ESSED) reported

Called @iiNet tonight. Informed @NBN_Australia have looked into it and won't be sending out anyone to investigate the fault. Presumably there was connectivity at the time they checked so they think it's all good. This will happen next time there's a storm, as sure as ****.

  • 0B5ESSED Obsessive Compulsive (@0B5ESSED) reported

Now @iiNet want to put us in contact with the support team. The same support team who "can't do anything more. Don't need to go back to the start with the support team or turn the router on/off or explain to someone new why there is a problem despite having connectivity now.

  • dandantaylor99 Dan Taylor (@dandantaylor99) reported

@iiNet is there an issue in the Rockdale 2216 area? Switched off and disconnected router twice now and still in red status not working. Please advise.

  • aivakic Ante Ivakic (@aivakic) reported

@iiNet any updates on nbn poi double view outage?

  • 0B5ESSED Obsessive Compulsive (@0B5ESSED) reported

In that time we've been happy with @iiNet and always said it's worth paying the extra for the technical assistance we've received. We're not happy now @iiNet. We understand the problem needs @NBN_Australia to fix, but we pay you and we rely on you to work with NBN to sort it out.

  • 0B5ESSED Obsessive Compulsive (@0B5ESSED) reported

How is it that our neighbours had this resolved but we can't? How is it @NBN_Australia can tell @iiNet they're not going to fix the problem, and @iiNet accepts that and fails to advise us of our option to engage the Communications Ombudsman? Not bloody good enough, either of you.

  • AggieAnnaS Aggie (@AggieAnnaS) reported

@iiNet You're going to fix the lack of password encryption in the company?
