Self inflicted EOY brain to lose card & then forget to pay @iiNet but 30 hrs since my payment recorded & still no service seems excessive

@iiNet had emails for a little while today ... but guess what?? It's down again!! No notifications from you, just chance that I happened to check. No notices on FB or Twitter. Really poor service. The outage I understand, no news I can't.

@iiNet A truly DISGRACEFUL performance by IINET. 3 days out of action and ZERO notifications other than a lame tweet 30 hours after it all went down. Clearly, it is time to get another ISP that actually has backup plans.

Hi @iiNet More hot weather forecast for #Perth over the next week so understandably your customers are concerned that there will be another 'weather related' catastrophic server outage. Do you now have a BCP in place to mitigate reliance on a single location? #iinet @__thewest__

@Peter_F_Ryan @iiNet That is pretty poor Peter, they should have closed the lines and taken the calls in queue, or dumped them but not left them on hold. They have fairly robust technology so would be fully aware of how many are waiting

@jtcompsolutions @iiNet No. I saw someone else here having the same issue. Parts of WA have no power and I believe this is what is affecting iiNet as they are based in WA.

@MikeCarlton01 On a brighter note Mike ... @iiNet seems to have finally sorted its e-mail problem. The worst for me was having some subscriptions I have to renew every month that come through my e-mail. Until today I haven't been able to access what I pay for since Friday 🤬

@Peter_F_Ryan @iiNet Peter generally, organisations don't want to provide ctr service, it's expensive & that's why yr plan is relatively inexpensive. Telstra & Optus are marginally better in terms of ctr service - they "own" the network and seldom drop out completely. ALL are in the Telecom Triangle.
