  • WilliamCStubbs William Smith-Stubbs 🐨 (@WilliamCStubbs) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Me: yeah hi I need to configure some settings on my internet settings @iiNet support rep: yeah cool. While this is processing allow me to tell you all about my #COVIDー19 conspiracy theory and how it’s man made population control. Me: 😐

  • Mcali4 liz franklin (@Mcali4) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

    @_bohemiaheart @slpng_giants_oz @iiNet @flightcentreAU @myer @JetstarAirways @ladbrokescomau I'll have a ritual burning of my myercard. Never used it much anyway.

  • tja0830 Tom (@tja0830) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@iiNet Thanks Waheeb, I can’t do that as the only Ethernet connection I have is over the Xbox. This issues has been happening since I was connected over a month and very rarely (if ever) have got the speed I pay for.

  • tja0830 Tom (@tja0830) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@iiNet No worries. I called that number numerous times yesterday without resolution or a call back. Same with the live chat.

  • dansheps_ MurfasaurusRex (@dansheps_) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@iiNet Its too late its all ready with the TIO. Your support team failed to provide adequate support and at times ignored my requests and constantly spoke over me. I guess happens when you cut costs and move support overseas that have no idea about Australian consumer law. Damage done.

  • dansheps_ MurfasaurusRex (@dansheps_) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@iiNet Yup already spoken to them and there response tbh is not acceptable at this stage. For your interest here is the invoice that caused this problem. 695673371 you might find this a rather interesting case. This is just the start of the exposure of the illegal billing practices.

  • blake_andersson BlakeGreen118 (@blake_andersson) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@timothy_89 @lukeacl @iiNet Lifx uses direct wifi only, the Hue bulbs use a mesh network

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • jen_vevie Jen Houston (@jen_vevie) reported

@iiNet I’m STILL not getting my emails - I’ve called the help desk - and staff had no idea of time lines or solutions. This is insane.

  • estjune83 No-micron (@estjune83) reported

@jrgibson1 @iiNet I switched to TPG when they bought out iiNet. Why stay with the sub brand when you can go with the owner? Never had an issue. Aussie BB seems to be good if going independent is important to you

  • KerriDee63 Kerri Dee (@KerriDee63) reported

@iiNet I am not receiving emails again, since about 8am today. Is there another issue on your end? I’m in Adelaide.

  • quendaqueen Lyn (@quendaqueen) reported

@PetraAu @Boendy1 @iiNet They've had power issues, beyond their control. There is going to be an enquiry as to why so many power users have been off the grid for days.

  • Schellmeister Julian Schellenberg (@Schellmeister) reported

@iiNet Any chance of an explanation as late in the afternoon there's still nothing doing with e-mail ? - you ignored my DM a few days ago as well. Great service, not really. If you can't solve your problems just own it.

  • lynchmob080 Steven Lynch (@lynchmob080) reported

@iiNet Can you please advise the actual fault, estimated time for restoration, and an explanation for the slow response. My email has been down for 4 days now.

  • IsiUnikowski Isi Unikowski (@IsiUnikowski) reported

@iiNet This was two days ago, problems still happening. How about an update?

  • WendyBirdOZ Wendy (@WendyBirdOZ) reported

@shaunamkinney @iiNet The internet side of things is fine. I'd prefer not to use the gmail account I use for businesses who I know will spam my life away (out of sight, out of mind). Email is not my #1 priority, but it is up there. They HAVE to fix it. The issue is when? Weather excuse is vague.

  • jrgibson1 😷 (@jrgibson1) reported

@iiNet no longer has Australian call centres. @iiNet doesn’t have a retention team …doesn’t provide ETA for faults …isn’t actually caring about issues.

  • jd_sullivan jd_sullivan (@jd_sullivan) reported from Burnside, State of Western Australia

@iiNet Still a problem.. my email coming through but not my forwarded to iinet emails .. what’s happening? Where do they go?
