@iiNet Yup already spoken to them and there response tbh is not acceptable at this stage. For your interest here is the invoice that caused this problem. 695673371 you might find this a rather interesting case. This is just the start of the exposure of the illegal billing practices.

  • dansheps_ MurfasaurusRex (@dansheps_) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@iiNet Its too late its all ready with the TIO. Your support team failed to provide adequate support and at times ignored my requests and constantly spoke over me. I guess happens when you cut costs and move support overseas that have no idea about Australian consumer law. Damage done.

  • WilliamCStubbs William Smith-Stubbs 🐨 (@WilliamCStubbs) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Me: yeah hi I need to configure some settings on my internet settings @iiNet support rep: yeah cool. While this is processing allow me to tell you all about my #COVIDー19 conspiracy theory and how it’s man made population control. Me: 😐

  • tja0830 Tom (@tja0830) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@iiNet Thanks Waheeb, I can’t do that as the only Ethernet connection I have is over the Xbox. This issues has been happening since I was connected over a month and very rarely (if ever) have got the speed I pay for.

  • daj416418 Deborah Jackson (@daj416418) reported

@iiNet Email is working now but no emails from the period where service was impacted. Will we have these emails restored? Agree with other comments about lack of communication. I spent 30 minutes on the phone to Microsoft, I thought there was something wrong with Outlook.

  • jackrusseljosie Josie (@jackrusseljosie) reported

@iiNet Think email is broken again. Tried emailing to and from my Yahoo account, got nothing. Did receive some emails sent this nothing, but nothing from the afternoon of 25 December until yesterday

  • FilCullen Phil Cullen (@FilCullen) reported

@iiNet How f#*king hard can it be? Have you ********* heard of airconditioning? Email has been offline since Christmas Day! Support based inn Australia might help!!

  • bobthegeo BobtheGeo (@bobthegeo) reported

@Nemspy @iiNet Mate, a business like this should be better set up to handle this. The people working to fix it are doing so because their management didn't invest properly. And no, it's not that unusual in the years I've been living here. I hate to say it but it's likely to become more common.

  • SusanaMatosCruz Susana (@SusanaMatosCruz) reported

@miriamcosic @iiNet It’s bad. There’s lots of people without power since yesterday (43 degrees) and today (44). This heat wave has been a catastrophe.

  • JudeMahony Jude Mahony (@JudeMahony) reported

@iiNet And still no customer communication! Emails back online, no idea whether emails received between 1.40pm 25th and 9.25pm 26th will be recovered or are gone for good. @iinet *sticks head in sand*

  • FGecolarge FG (@FGecolarge) reported

@dodgy_coder @cc_stoney @iiNet Did the WA grid go down yesterday?

  • kezarthur Keri Arthur (@kezarthur) reported

@iiNet 2 days without email. No idea if missing emails will be on webmail because unable to access webmail (page is finally up but now login errors) No communication from you other than 1 paltry facebook/twitter post. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!

  • meltonunknown Melton unknown (@meltonunknown) reported

@jackrusseljosie @iiNet It's broken again... I got a few emails in the middle of the night, but since around 8am this morning it's stopped again...

  • jswharton Shane (@jswharton) reported

@iiNet The point I would make is that with email and website down it would have been appropriate for updates to be broadcast via Twitter. Better for your competition to know but keep customers in the loop.
