Ryan Penning™ @😌 (@Avo_Spread) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@iiNet it seems like there might be an undetected outage in the Caringbah area. Just got through a power cycle of our router and reset it. Still no internet connection despite a perfectly fine wifi signal.
-
🦠 Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, New South WalesA colleague is having WFH issues. Got a speed test done. It’s ASDL 14/0.8. Got them to call their ISP (iiNet) to upgrade to HFC NBN which is ready for service. iiNet told them it would not increase their internet speeds 🤦🏻
-
Mitchell Austin (@mitchaustin10) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@Deligracy @iiNet They are shocking! Had them at my last place and literally worst provider 😂

Rebecca McElroy (@re_mcelroy) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@iiNet That's 10+ days without internet and many hours spent on the phone with your (admittedly very nice) support teams. I've been compensated once already, though it was rather paltry - and at this point I'm honestly questioning my decision to use iinet 😭
-
Christian Schweitzer (@c_j_schweitzer) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@iiNet Customer Ref 1184783189
-
Marquis d'Killara (@pfbt) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@iiNet It’s working now. Clearly you Network Status post saying there was minor incident which “may” affect service was correct. It was the network.
-
Justin Brash (@just_brash) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@iiNet Likewise I have removed your SIM card from my phone so no point keeping that active either. Please send a final statement/invoice to reflect this situation. If you can organise that you may prevent an ombudsman complaint. I doubt very much you could convince me to use iiNet again
-
David Jenkins (@DavJenks) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@iiNet The interaction with iinet staff was fine, no complaints at all. NBN technician comes out Monday morning. That will play havoc with online schooling and me working from home. Hopefully this recurring problem will be fixed on nbn tech visit #3.
-
Moe Kiss (@MoeMKiss) reported from Sydney, New South WalesI can only guess what has happened to @iiNet once great company which stopped giving a shit about their customers. It's been nothing but pain since we relocated with them. From taking time off work for appts that never happen to a miriade of calls which are never returned
-
roden vuong (@rodenv) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@iiNet I don’t understand how you can just leave a customer hanging, promising to call them back and then just disappear. It is NOT my responsibility to chase up your customer service for an update.
-
Marquis d'Killara (@pfbt) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@iiNet dropouts. Speeds down to around 1-2 Mb/s. Lots of dropouts. Have restarted modem to check it’s not the modem
-
Hugo - Visconde de Mundo (@hugobrown) reported from Sydney, New South WalesLooks though end has come for ADSL2 internet at home, well was good ride @iiNet 15yrs Its been great can't fault them its been 95% good experience Sadly with @NBN_Australia areas like 2223 lots old apartments strata /owners won't pay connect building /retrofit sucks for renters
-
🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 💪🏼💉💪🏼 Joe Ortenzi (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@iiNet It’s been like this for many months if not years. Thankfully I have my mobile data plan but I used up all 80gb and it renews tomorrow. And the router has always shown a green connection, never failing.
-
Phillip Havea (@philliphavea) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@iiNet what’s going on the with the internet? Been offline since lunch and no one has been able to take our support calls.

-
David Jenkins (@DavJenks) reported from Sydney, New South Wales@iiNet But the alternative is holding on to a mobile phone connection which in my case kept dropping out due to poor phone reception. Typing out a message was the best I could manage. I couldnt even get the iinet website to load to try an online chat message.
