@iiNet hi, our nbn is down. Is there an issue?

  • freakboy3742
Russell Keith-Magee (@freakboy3742) reported from Perth, Western Australia

@NBN_Australia Let’s be clear - my provider @iinet knows nothing about what is going on. The fact that there was a service technician at my house was a complete surprise to them. And the technician disconnected me *before* letting me know. Glad I wasn’t doing anything important.

I’d also like to thank the @iiNet support staff out of whom I had to drag every last detail about how the @NBN_Australia fault investigation process would proceed.

@whoisricho @iiNet I agree - hopefully they will in future do a lot better on communicating early & often what the issue is & the expected resolution time though.

@kidsglasses @iiNet Seriously swap to Aussie! iiNet is nothing what they used to be! Have a referral code but don’t even care if you don’t want it… want better internet, go Aussie. Better customer service too

@tantryl @iiNet I’m only having email trouble - I moved to a local internet provider for my NBN service a few years ago. My FTTH speeds with iiNet were slower than my old copper ADSL.

@iiNet An hour, a day or a week to fix it? Please communicate to your customers.

@iiNet I accept the reason for the loss of service-adverse events happen.I can’t accept the ARROGANCE of NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of the delay in advising us-either your risk mgt processes are in a mess- ( crucial step”advise customers”) or u just didn’t care about us.U need to explain THIS!
