Internet has been down for hours. @iinet says it won’t be up til 8pm. Well, that’s my working day ruined. Was trying to get backlog finished before #westtechfest tomorrow. Nah, that won’t happen! 😞 #suffering #suckatoons

@NBN_Australia Let’s be clear - my provider @iinet knows nothing about what is going on. The fact that there was a service technician at my house was a complete surprise to them. And the technician disconnected me *before* letting me know. Glad I wasn’t doing anything important.

@iiNet Update: someone sensible called and spoke to Dad. Resolved the lost emails but couldn’t change the quota. So moving my folks to iCloud email addresses. Still crazy it requires a Twitter rant to get proper support and service.

Dear @iiNet why does your website say your support number is 24/7 but when I call that number I’m told to call back during business hours? I have no tv and now I have trust issues.

Hey @NBN_Australia I have had a drop out and low speed problem through @iiNet going on months yet you have refused to get a technician to visit the node to try and sort it out. What does it take to get you to help?

@AlisterAir @iiNet Yep 16 grand in Brunswick East. They've turned off the ability to get a quote for doing all the neighbours at the same time. It's ludicrous. If the HFC is unstable I'll actually look at using 5G for crucial stuff. Exactly as Telstra foresaw 10 years ago during the NBN wars.

@iiNet Thanks Liz however the blockage seems to be NBN and without them agreeing to sort out the problem between the node and the premises nothing will happen.
