I keep having daily dropouts with @iiNet and tech support haven’t fixed. Anyone have this issue or recommend a ISP that doesn’t have dropouts?

@WolfQveenttv @iiNet HAHA WTF. Forcing you to pay more for a service that’s worse and that you don’t even need @iiNet logic

@RJMajik @iiNet mmm. You'd think that with jst a few metres of copper out to the DPU that there wouldn't be enough to induce a voltage in it. We found that the initial installer has left the copper to the exchange connected to the house service drop. Disconnected, no NCDs blown up since

@seamus @iiNet It is is almost impossible to buy speeds as low as 20Mbps in New Zealand any more. Can only do so if you are one of the two or three percent stuck on a poor quality copper connection or have 1st generation fixed wireless.

Look, I understand why you do it, but not allowing a customer to cancel an account without speaking to a sales rep on the phone is super annoying @iiNet

@Professor_Leech @seamus @iiNet Yes, not bad for for about $80 (A$70) a month…

@AGrumpyScotsman @another_streamr @iiNet Agreed. I left iiNet a year or so ago after years of pathetic Internet and awful customer service. They also charged me for 2 month after I cancelled too so watch out for that AussieBB is goated though, couldn’t recommend enough

@iiNet I've had a broken internet for 2 weeks. I've spent 4 hours on the phone over that last 9 or 10 days, basically doing iinet's job, coordinating this job because of poor documentation, poor communication and people not following through on plans.

Starting a community thread about terrible experiences with @iiNet that anyone can add to. I’ll start; No where near the advertised DL/UL speeds, numerous phone calls with insight such as “turn modem on and off” and when I cancelled, still billed me for 2 months afterwards
