Hey @iiNet as a new customer to your #NBN service, I think it's not unreasonable for you to have solved the broken connection that I'm experiencing, now into its 3rd day.

@iiNet at this time of night normally between 6 and 11 Mb. Tonight it’s dropping out or operating in the 0.2 - 2 range most of the time. Never had this problem with ADSL2+. Your help site shows a local error @TurnbullMalcolm should be in gaol for inflicting this crap o. the country

I can only guess what has happened to @iiNet once great company which stopped giving a shit about their customers. It's been nothing but pain since we relocated with them. From taking time off work for appts that never happen to a miriade of calls which are never returned

Is there any bigger shit show than the crappy @NBN_Australia brought to us by wrecker @TurnbullMalcolm. No internet again tonight, my weekly experience on HFC hybrid crap rolled out by our useless former PM under orders from another earlier former idiot and useless PM. @iiNet

@NewtonMark @shaneoneill @Aussie_BB @Telstra I fired up an Aussie BB service at my parents new house just last week in 20 mins, after iiNet failed spectacularly at transferring their service from their old address. Did a Vodafone one on the weekend too and was online in an hour.

@iiNet It’s working now. Clearly you Network Status post saying there was minor incident which “may” affect service was correct. It was the network.

@iiNet dropouts. Speeds down to around 1-2 Mb/s. Lots of dropouts. Have restarted modem to check it’s not the modem

@iiNet That's 10+ days without internet and many hours spent on the phone with your (admittedly very nice) support teams. I've been compensated once already, though it was rather paltry - and at this point I'm honestly questioning my decision to use iinet 😭

A colleague is having WFH issues. Got a speed test done. It’s ASDL 14/0.8. Got them to call their ISP (iiNet) to upgrade to HFC NBN which is ready for service. iiNet told them it would not increase their internet speeds 🤦🏻

Also before they moved out their home internet had suddenly moved to Vodafone NBN but their iiNet account still showed usage up until the people at the new house turned off the modem. Sounds like a churn was done but iiNet support claims that is impossible

@iiNet But the alternative is holding on to a mobile phone connection which in my case kept dropping out due to poor phone reception. Typing out a message was the best I could manage. I couldnt even get the iinet website to load to try an online chat message.

iiNet support wasn’t interested in the fact they had iiNet NBN 50 and suddenly they had Vodafone NBN 100 running at their house. Just say it’s impossible.

@iiNet It is extraordinary how dim and thin-skinned #iiNet’s social media reps can be, trying to warn disappointed **NEW** customers off complaining publicly about its appalling service. I predict this will be a very short relationship. Want better? AVOID #iiNet.

@iinet attempting to watch the Olympics via the @7plus live tv channels using iinet's Fetch box. The Fetch box reboots itself whenever it feels like it, has a slow and unresponsive interface, and its displayed picture freezes often. iinet tries to sell movies using Fetch? Really?
