Lady C - no not that one🐀 (@LadyCBean1966) reported from Sunshine Coast, Queensland@stilgherrian I get so sick of reality type shows. If one works, the TV is flooded with them. It's not just the UK. It's an international machine. I never watch free to air TV anymore. There is nothing on. I watch Netflix, Stan or Foxtel

Courtney McGregor..Human rights and social justice (@McGregorCourt) reported from Sunshine Coast, Queensland@EddyJokovich @KongaKong If another streaming service offers the same, I'd get rid of Foxtel but as it stands there's not
-
Courtney McGregor..Human rights and social justice (@McGregorCourt) reported from Sunshine Coast, Queensland@EddyJokovich I'm guilty of having Foxtel and as much as I despise Murdoch, I am unapologetically keeping it because free to air tv is shit.
-
JC on the radio (@jc_on_the_radio) reported from Cooroy Mountain, QueenslandI'm trying desperately to cancel @Foxtel however you can only do so by phone & no one is responding. Been 2 days now....

JC on the radio (@jc_on_the_radio) reported from Cooroy Mountain, Queensland@senbmckenzie @SkyNewsAust I cancelled my @Foxtel subscription ages ago. Never felt better. Pitifully small audience anyway.

Lady C - no not that one (@LadyCBean1966) reported from Sunshine Coast, Queensland@DebMcPoge @LindaMelisande @grgkpln And that's great. I have no issue with what ppl do. But I was attacked today 4 having Foxtel from someone who I will guarantee has spent money on a Murdoch product somewhere
-
Linda (@bombergirl57) reported from Sunshine Coast, Queensland@JaneCaro @Telstra Ohhh I can't even imagine your pain! Netflix/ Foxtel etc are the only thing that is going to keep me sane during this sham of an election! I am having to make myself limit my time on social media during the campaign to keep the stress levels down!!!!🙄
-
Joey (@joey8bitz) reported from Sunshine Coast, Queensland@FOXNRL @Foxtel @kayosports He's just a kid with a bad role model in his ear.
-
Darren Camilleri⚫️⚪️⚫️🇦🇺✊🏾 (@camo2572) reported from Sunshine Coast, Queensland@Mattys123 @CollingwoodFC Don’t have Kayo only Foxtel not going to do the free trial last time I did that bloody nightmare to cancel as they kept taking money had to go to some shelf company to unsubscribe and stop payments bloody bullshit it was , this was in November last year
-
Noely ⚡️🏐 (@YaThinkN) reported from Sunshine Coast, Queensland@KleinRevd @SkyNewsAust Pretty much. Worse now as just saying, "cancel Foxtel" is not good enough as they are part of WIN, so it means that many in regional Australia are now seeing Sky News on free to air TV, unaware that their 'brand' of news is harmful, misleading and misinforming.
-
Lady C - no not that one (@LadyCBean1966) reported from Sunshine Coast, Queensland@CheSaysHey I know. That's why I say, ppl have no right to put judgement on me. They may just end up with one big egg on their face. I do not support Murdoch personally, I simply enjoy the format of Foxtel and have had it since it was Austar.
-
Doug Shand (@DWShand) reported from Sunshine Coast, Queensland@PGATOUR Too bad no one in Australia will be watching unless they subscribed to golftv. Bad form @PGATOUR we all spend over $15 per month now on @Foxtel for the PGA Tour thinking we could view all events! Seriously Sucking us Dry. And still we have no Golf Channel and no WGC. #badform
-
Noely ⚡️🏐 (@YaThinkN) reported from Sunshine Coast, Queensland@mckinj Blokes. Hope we don't get them lobbed on us when broadcast moves to Foxtel/Kayo next year. At least this guy in Adelaide likes the game. Normally Nine foists Seb on us and he is terrible. I swear he is trolling fans by using other sports terminology all the time 😡
FOXTEL Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Chris Rauchle (@ChrisRauchle) reported@tayser82 I believe Foxtel used as much power as a town the size of Lithgow when it first setup in Macquarie Park but, no, that wasn’t a problem
-
Gus Lefty Aussie Patriot (@GusLefty) reported@NadiaWa35758056 Remembering at the time Murdoch Foxtel was a satellite 'service'. Murdoch did not want a good high speed internet as it would 'damage' his Foxtel

Scott (Human) - 𐌃𐌏ᖇ𐌉乙乙𐌃𐌕 (@Dorizzdt) reported**** this, I'm going out today to spend $3k on a media setup. I'm going back to just pirating TV/Movies. It's not because I am not willing to pay, its I am tired of paying subscription services and having everything so fragmented and being Nickel and Dimed by the services. When we worked on HD Streaming in the 2000's we set the foundation up for the industry to make video possible more easier. Even back then convincing Hollywood / TV Networks to abandon physical media for streaming was a huge undertaking in itself. They just were ******* in contracts with the creators of content and couldn't find a way to make online work. Fast forward 20 years later and this is the **** we end up with. It literally is just easier to pirate than its to keep doing this. atm I pay for: HBO Max Stan FoxTel Primewire Paramount Netflix Disney+ BritTv (i forgot to cancel the trial fml) AppleTV+ Its about $160 a month AUD I can't find half the **** i want to watch and the stuff that I want to watch is full of ads, or you have to then pay extra ontop. I'm out. stfu ... I'ma use AI to setup a complete end to end media experience.
-
Matlock (@Matlock47825386) reported@filmgeek_rq Yep absolute **** show. Murdoch said you’ll kill Foxtel so don’t let fibre happen, so Abbott dutifully obliged said ‘25mbps’ was sufficient. We’ve wasted billions on this the original plan was clearly the way to go.
-
Leigh (@hinterland33) reported@sportandracing @AussieNinerGuy @footyindustryAU Um Yes AFL broadcast agreement with the Seven Network & Foxtel includes built-in annual indexation Compound Growth: The contract features an in-built indexation rate, which represents a compound annual growth rate of about 3.6% for the rights fees over the life of the agreement
-
Jan (@bimmyjartel) reportedCan't rely on @Foxtel anymore with their programs. Recorded the Cats AFLW Mini replay. 16 mins of Pies Wildcard game first. Then saw 3 mins. Obviously putting in too many ads. Why are we paying for this crap?
-
ear (@greatfaerie) reportedOn the siege eps of S7 in my WW rewatch and remembering when they ended the first one making it look like Br*dy shot Vera in the head and never in the show had my heart dropped straight through my *** like that...not even funny at all I was about to find Foxtel headquarters
-
Adrian Portia (@Ports83) reported@Kaneeade @DrewPavlou @MsMelChen He never said he watched him play. He just said he watched him on television. Boz was on tv often when Foxtel had the A-League and EPL rights
-
Peter Dewar (@PeterD84508) reported@timritchie It was failed PM John Howard that sold off Telstra to the tax payers that already owned it. A disgraceful act when we also needed to upgrade to the optic fibre network at the same time. The LNP / Foxtel version of the NBN was another disgraceful failure ....
-
Dr G (@DrG2020V) reported@GregDavis006 Imagine the poor ***** who don't have Foxtel and have to watch channel 9 for all their footie all year! I'd just stop.
