@jono_hayward Damn you’re right. I just fact checked myself and boy was I wrong! I always assumed that Stan was a streaming service provided by Foxtel. This is the first new fact I’ve learned today. Thank you! Now they can share infrastructure 😂

@peasley_mark Cancel Foxtel. For those like myself if you can’t live without the sport switch to their Kayo product is around a 3rd of the price. Unsubscribing from their print requires a phone call but it’s relatively straightforward

@GlennHampson They’d make more money to sell it into different regions separately, like Australia sell to Foxtel, India to HotStar etc. If they sold to a service like Netflix, it’s a single sell for international rights, which then competes with their own platform.

@Foxtel Also, if you want to keep people from leaving in droves, let people pick their own channels in their package! Half the channels we never ever watch but we are forced to have them. Be flexible and stop being so greedy! You have plenty of competition, yet never reward loyalty.
