Tried watching @Wimbledon on @Channel7 but it is being shown with a terrible 576i resolution. Lucky I can watch it on @Foxtel with true 1080p HD. Oh well you get what you pay for with free to air TV.

@FOXTEL_Help Why are your responses to play store reviews saying that Foxtel Go doesn't work on Android 12 suggesting that people aren't using official releases? Seems manifestly incorrect and misleading and deceptive information to provide consumers.

@Todayin2020 @SES_rationale @Kate_McClymont Because I live in a regional town, Sky is imposed on us on the FTA systems. I have deliberately removed it from my PVR & my TV… and I never choose it on Foxtel after 6pm. At least in the cities, you have to subscribe to access this drivel. Rural people have it imposed.

@Serrels It's funny, not so long ago we hailed streaming services as our saviour from things like Foxtel. Now there's so damn many paid streaming services that it's become an absolute mess of trying to work out what's on what and what subscription you need to access it It's a joke

@parafactual It can be a legitimate form of protest against ******, but legal, behaviour. Eg. Foxtel (Australian cable TV) bought rights to Game of Thrones in Aus and the only way to legally watch it was to pay $80 a month for their dogshit service.

I’m watching foxtel. Why do I have to see ads for big brother? What is this ****?

DrGreenie Sedai (@Green_Girl100) reported
@David_J_Harley It’s History Channel show, which is FOXTEL in Australia. They’ve have had rights in past years, but not last year’s or the current season. No chance we’d be offered a free streaming service for this.
