FOXTEL Issues Reports Near Claremont, State of Western Australia

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Claremont and nearby locations:

  • tonytau101 Tony Ilian (@tonytau101) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@adam_turner Well we never really owned one. We all leased them. It was one of the reasons that Australis Media went broke. The original Galaxy offering was so flimsy. 8x channels via MDS dish on the roof. Ironically, I see Foxtel busily migrating their customers to sat or IP. TI #paytv

  • freocookster Freocookster ⚓ (@freocookster) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@lensman_dan I know! I'm going to a game next week, but can't get there today, so the only option is Kayo. I'll never, ever pay the ransom Foxtel charges.

  • BigV2011WCE Victor #StaySafe 🇦🇺 (@BigV2011WCE) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@CRIPPStoniteSC @ShesApples23 @FOXTEL_Help Just call then on chat and they’ll restore the signal

  • sezlloydy Sarah (@sezlloydy) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@TeaganM17 @Foxtel Which now? If it's a terrestrial channel I don't think it matters, if it's a Foxtel channel then jump up and down like a mad woman!

  • benno_76 Ben (@benno_76) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@cweaver1983 10 years ago people were walking away from Foxtel because we were paying $100 for crap we didn't watch. We're headed towards $100 for subscriptions we don't have time to use

  • BigV2011WCE Victor Yong #StaySafe 🇦🇺 (@BigV2011WCE) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

Foxtel needs a 24/7 women’s sport channel. Just need to sell the ABC/SBS, merge it and rename it Fox. Free of the taxpayer’s money. All staff at ABC stood down with no pay

  • MortifiedBeats Mort!fied (@MortifiedBeats) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

Wtf is going on with @Foxtel Go?!

  • freocookster Freocookster ⚓ 🐀 💜 (@freocookster) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Kop_this @freodockers @rupertmurdoch Hmmm, this I did not know. I haven't gone down this path since I lived in Melbourne and Foxtel was the only way to see Freo games. Kayo is $5 a month for Telstra customers.

  • KristySed Kristy Sedlarczuk (@KristySed) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@sistalma @Foxtel I think after the AFL wraps up this year, I will cut it back or cancel. $119 a month for platinum & they are offering new customers at half price. I reckon of have had Foxtel for 13 years or more. Not worth it any more.

  • wcameronOU812 Wes Cameron (@wcameronOU812) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

Why are @Telstra and @Foxtel so hard to deal with. Surely some courtesy would be appropriate. Dealing with a machine just doesn’t work. Such poor customer service.

  • MortifiedBeats Mort!fied (@MortifiedBeats) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

Any danger of Foxtel actually doing something about this problem? Even just an update as to what’s going on would be nice! @Foxtel

  • StevenGough27 Steven Gough (@StevenGough27) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@bulldoglegend @7AFL Give me a non Victorian football show on Foxtel or 9 or anywhere else and I will be more than happy tune in. The self indulgent dribble that is so VFL centric is rediculous. And the worst thing is, our own WA commentators on radio try so hard not to be biased towards our teams.

  • unenergy 💧🍺🍩B Digby Bamford🍩🍺 (@unenergy) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@adamajacoby They've never had to. Look up postmaster general. Free delivery for their papers. Then Howard gave Rupert monopoly access to Telstra for Foxtel. Maggie gave him control of BSkyB. Ronnie helped him buy Fox on the cheap. Taxpayers were Murdoch's Venture Capitalists.

  • BigV2011WCE Victor Yong #StaySafe 🇦🇺 (@BigV2011WCE) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@DamTom79 I like Newscorp and I support the governments Foxtel plan. Cut the ABC

  • MattM_78 Matthew #AtHomeYouMustStay Murphy (@MattM_78) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@DamoSC Damn missed it. I know someone with foxtel, might see if I can borrow log in details

  • benno_76 Ben (@benno_76) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

Banished from all TVs due to too much footy and racing. Foxtel Go and Kayo down. Sort it out @Foxtel

  • tonytau101 Tony Ilian (@tonytau101) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@FetchStep @davidbewart @MichaelWestBiz Ummh it's actually the other way around. Telstra sold down its interest in Foxtel to 35%. News Corp now own 65% of the business. What's telling is that Telstra has a huge bucket of money & they're not stumping up any for Foxtel. TI #Redink

  • sezlloydy Sarah (@sezlloydy) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

    @Jaco_1979 @Necr0nomican @Foxtel What?! That's horrid customer service!

  • DArtagnan71 Andrew🇵🇬🇳🇿🇦🇺🐀🕳️ (@DArtagnan71) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@DaveMilbo And you can't not have it...reason enough to cancel Foxtel.

  • BigV2011WCE Victor #StaySafe 🇦🇺 (@BigV2011WCE) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@hongandbo @Foxtel I still have Foxtel for Sky News and sports. Optus for my Euro footie fix

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • bdherring Ben Herring (@bdherring) reported

@cmkusher @kayosports Yes!! All last year. Almost every single game. And now again. Pretty sure I’m gonna cancel and just fork out for Foxtel. I went through hoops with their support last year and got no where. They are useless. Tell me please, are you using an AppleTV?

  • JustBeCozNow Just BeCoz 🇦🇺 (@JustBeCozNow) reported

@daisymay4263 Never ever watched the show, never watch free to air crap. Foxtel suits me fine.

  • JoelDFleming Joel David Fleming (@JoelDFleming) reported

@philmupp1 Foxtel subscriptions have risen substantially overall the last couple of years. The growth is in streaming (Kayo/Binge/Flash). Never been more Foxtel subscribers than there are today. Ratings don’t cover streaming, so I wouldn’t know how many actually watch Bolt.

  • Dorizzdt Scott (@Dorizzdt) reported

I’ve decided to openly embrace piracy of tv shows instead of paying @Foxtel the fact I pay $100 a month and you have the ***** to still push advertising on top of that .. it’s ridiculous now I pay around $200 a month for all the various services and tbh it’s just stupid now

  • jake_m0 JakeM0T0 (@jake_m0) reported

@Foxtel @FOXTEL_Help It's bad enough we've just lost a couple of channels Don't start playing season 9 onwards of Two & a half Men as well Nobody wants to watch Ashton Kutcher in that show Play seasons 1 to 8 with Charlie Sheen only or don't play the show #twoandahalfmen #foxtel

  • SteveMolk Toots: molk@theradio.au | The Guidefather 👍🇦🇺📺 (@SteveMolk) reported

@TheDanBarrett Oh, I absolutely acknowledge that. It was as much screaming into the void as pre-emptive schadenfreude for all those "never Murdoch" Foxtel haters. As for scaling big enough, a purchase like that is off the shelf scaling.

  • kirsty112233 Kirsty Callander (@kirsty112233) reported

Excuse me @FOXNRL I have an issue with my Foxtel box. I seem to have commentators at the #nrlPanthersBroncos game only commenting on how good Penrith are also the only player playing for them is Nathan Cleary? Can you help me get unbiased commentary? Thanks for your help

  • bozwhite Boz (@bozwhite) reported

@RobskiNew Ironically wasn't it way worse in the season that was shut down due to covid and Foxtel slashed the money coming to aleagues

  • jono_pace Jono Pace (@jono_pace) reported

@TurnbullMalcolm You also cancelled the NBN Fibre rollout - to support Foxtel perhaps? This cost Australia another 20-30-40 billion? You to date are the worst prime minister in Australian history.

  • cblish22 Charl Lishman (@cblish22) reported

@samstrades @Qantas Qantas Telstra and Foxtel have a competition to see who is the worst. Unfortunately it is a very close race at the moment.
