Nine would like to retain (or gain) some exclusivity for live telecasts as Foxtel regularly beats it for viewers when games are simultaneously broadcast. I did some analysis the other day and P+ have more subscribers now than Foxtel had when the A-League had its TV audience peak in 2012-13

The equivalent here, Foxtel, just has an app for people who don’t want the satellite service, which means using a Firestick, Apple TV or the like.

AlexanderV (@PedlarFan) reported@fa37376 Do you understand how much money Qatar and the UAE have? Saudi Arabia have a minority stake in DAZN who bought Foxtel which plays Sydney games on it. They can’t take it back, but they could have easily renewed the sponsorship, instead they turned down the money.
