Porting your number (when you sign up to another provider and ask them to bring your previous number) will cancel it for you and ensure you keep your mobile number. Guess how many times I’ve been told by customer care workers that it will be removed? 5. Every time I call I get another incompetent, untrained sod who has no authority to help.
