Lol @Telstra promoting 5G at the @AFL #MCG and you can barely get one bar of reception. My friend on @VodafoneAU has full service. You could not make this up lol #fuckntelstra #telstra

Hi @VodafoneAU I hate tweeting complaints but your sales person that called me this morning was rude, pushy, and couldn’t seem to grasp the concept of “please call back later.”

@swearyanthony @VodafoneAU @NSWSES Pretty sure I had a cert error using Vodafone via tethering on Thursday or Friday. In Melbs, naturally. Not an issue now but could suggest they’re rolling out certs around the country?

@swearyanthony @VodafoneAU Can confirm that all bit_dot_ly on the Vodafone network has been broken since at least Wednesday, I’ve seen exactly the same error. As the man says, they should refer to their engineers and fix their stuff. It’s often not possible to find the relevant alert from the target domain

WTF trying to ring next door neighbour via mobile to landline and I’m now required to enter an area code @VodafoneAU

@TomWKoch @VodafoneAU It seems to me that the staff (and most of the conversation was with a second level "specialist") isn't trained enough, or enabled to escalate issues to someone who is able to understand it. It's not the helpdesk person's fault (I blanked their name for a reason)

@VodafoneAU yeah - as I thought. Seems pretty dumb & inflexible to me to say "hey, we can't supply modems & we just don't care if you can get your hands an old one or not - we won't help you." The downside to no competition, I guess. Thanks for the link; I didn't know.

@swearyanthony @kyhwana @VodafoneAU Oh don’t get me wrong, it definitely should be fixed for everyone. Sometimes (quite often) I don’t even realise there’s an issue because of my all-telcos-are-incompetent workarounds. I suspect this is fallout from an attempt to “block illegal stuff because gov said so”

I spent an hour trying to explain to them that they were endangering lives and even the "specialist" @VodafoneAU 2nd level support specialist was "check your VPN, or clear cookies" when I kept saying no, this is on you. You've broken it.
