Vodafone Australia Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • garystark Professor West Wing Fried Chicken Shack (@garystark) reported

What's wrong with @vodafoneAu in Homebush lately? Very poor reception for the last 3 days. Not good enough. Back to the days of #VodaFail

  • swearyanthony Anthony B, (@swearyanthony) reported

@TomWKoch @VodafoneAU It seems to me that the staff (and most of the conversation was with a second level "specialist") isn't trained enough, or enabled to escalate issues to someone who is able to understand it. It's not the helpdesk person's fault (I blanked their name for a reason)

  • swearyanthony Anthony B, (@swearyanthony) reported

I spent an hour trying to explain to them that they were endangering lives and even the "specialist" @VodafoneAU 2nd level support specialist was "check your VPN, or clear cookies" when I kept saying no, this is on you. You've broken it.

  • MissDissentEats Jackie McMillan (@MissDissentEats) reported

@VodafoneAU @vodafone So what about Pambula (no service), Aslings Beach (no service), Tathra (one to two bars, dodgy), Bermagui (one bar, might as well be no service) and Tabourie (one bar, might as well be no service).

  • louisheadband84 Melissa GOT LOUIS TICKETS (@louisheadband84) reported

why is it everytime it rains my NBN internet is not working? what am I paying for? @VodafoneAU Hillcrest 4118

  • DrPollyBurey Dr Polly Burey (@DrPollyBurey) reported

@swearyanthony @TooheyMatthew @VodafoneAU Had this issue during Qld floods a decade ago.....

  • zyrorl zyrorl (@zyrorl) reported

@VodafoneAU @MobileMuster1 But why? If they could potentially be useful to us in the future (replacement/emergency phone), why would we recycle them unless we were throwing them in the bin?

  • MissDissentEats Jackie McMillan (@MissDissentEats) reported

@VodafoneAU I was in all of those areas. Your service is abysmal.

  • swearyanthony Anthony B, (@swearyanthony) reported

I repeatedly asked for them to escalate it and @VodafoneAU don't enable their helpdesk to be able to do that. Even when it's a "lives are actually at risk right now" issue.

  • mrkwhite Mark White (@mrkwhite) reported

@swearyanthony @VodafoneAU Telcos, particularly when it comes to infrastructure, should have an aptitude-based recruitment of smart customers, who know the relevant tech. And then have immediate escalation of issues, because, they’d be real. Would actually reduce support costs, I reckon.
