@swearyanthony @VodafoneAU Can confirm that all bit_dot_ly on the Vodafone network has been broken since at least Wednesday, I’ve seen exactly the same error. As the man says, they should refer to their engineers and fix their stuff. It’s often not possible to find the relevant alert from the target domain

@swearyanthony @VodafoneAU Why should I trust that some dodgy antivirus company like, say, Symantec, to not issue certificates for Google to themselves?

Aside from the immediate issue of @VodafoneAU blocking folks from being able to click through on @NSWSES alerts, it's absolutely unacceptable that their help desk are unable to escalate serious life threatening issues.

Lol @Telstra promoting 5G at the @AFL #MCG and you can barely get one bar of reception. My friend on @VodafoneAU has full service. You could not make this up lol #fuckntelstra #telstra

@VodafoneAU ok. It's common for level 1 support engineers to not understand the difference between gigabit ethernet & fast ethernet, so I was hoping I could save him the pain of explaining it to someone. Unless you don't believe me (perish the thought!).

WTF trying to ring next door neighbour via mobile to landline and I’m now required to enter an area code @VodafoneAU

@VodafoneAU I have tried everything. Calls. Chats. Email. Fb messenger. Now tweeting. Failure to set up my NBN and now you cut off my back up service for a week! I can’t run my business off a phone hot spot. Very polite. No action. #frustrated.

@swearyanthony @kyhwana @VodafoneAU Oh don’t get me wrong, it definitely should be fixed for everyone. Sometimes (quite often) I don’t even realise there’s an issue because of my all-telcos-are-incompetent workarounds. I suspect this is fallout from an attempt to “block illegal stuff because gov said so”

Hi @VodafoneAU I hate tweeting complaints but your sales person that called me this morning was rude, pushy, and couldn’t seem to grasp the concept of “please call back later.”

@swearyanthony @VodafoneAU Telcos, particularly when it comes to infrastructure, should have an aptitude-based recruitment of smart customers, who know the relevant tech. And then have immediate escalation of issues, because, they’d be real. Would actually reduce support costs, I reckon.
