@Telstra Is this an Australia wide issue? Parents in NW Tas, their gateway says internet connected, but nothing loads. Is this the cause perhaps? Thanks

The Telstra outage is not over...this is a lie. My Telstra mobile and my wife's cannot make or receive voice calls. This is pathetic more than 24 hours after the giant telco fessed up to its gross failure to maintain service.

@wally_waldo83 @AaronDodd @Telstra Bullshit. The Telstra outage is on Telstra, the govt has no say. Telstra is a listed company.

@DeanRosario I’m a Telstra customer and was affected by the outage for 2.5hrs yesterday morning. I was back online briefly and off again. Switched off and on and was back online and no issues since then.

@devalara44 I heard that as well. So my question is - was the patient seriously ill and succumbed to death or did the outage contribute to her death - ie machines hooked up to the patient failed? And what I’d like to know is what medical software operated machines rely on Telstra? If any?

@business one Telstra outage and entire regional rail networks go dark. that's a single point of failure nobody modeled properly

@9NewsMelb Another Vic Gov stuff up. Imagine the big bucks the Risk Management team are on and they had no back up plan for Telstra network failure.

old copper network needed upgrading sure though I don’t ever remember not being able to make a triple zero call hard to fathom Telstra did/does not have built in redundancies for network failures #telstraoutage

Hopefully most of the 000 calls Telstra failed to connect were just Sarah Henderson "testing" the network.

@heidimur Just a smoke screen to try and avoid the atrocious stuff ups this government is doing. I don't know of one electronic or computer device or system that sometimes doesn't have a problem. This government has caused so much more problems than Telstra. Allan is shifty.

The Telstra outage is fascinating because I live in a bad spot, with consistently terrible coverage, yet we didn’t lose it at all. So weird.
