  My phone has dropped out 3 times mid conversation and I’ve had to reset my phone to be able to use it again since the @Telstra outage.

  @AussieVal10 This is easy...I'm on Telstra. In a rural area so the phone doesn't work most of the time except when Telstra messages me to say my data ran out...after only renewing 2 days earlier...so mostly no internet on the phone most of the time either...even though i only use it to listen to pod casts from "conspiracy theorists" ...so i have just started switching it off most of the time anyway ..I highly recommend...Telstra service regionally...overpriced and mostly doesn't work except to "SEND" data ..of course...which i think is what i'm paying for....them to spy on me...LMAO

  @Ausbobsmit She is totally ******* mad .Watching her today belittling the Telstra executives for the outage the other day and all from somebody who has never had to run a business.She has never employed anybody or had to pay wages .With technology you can always expect things to go wrong ffs

  @Naymmm_ @stupidtechtakes *actually the governments fault for whatever stupid reason, they forced Telstra/TPG/Optus to do these blanket bans on VoLTE capable devices if they weren’t sold locally for whatever reason

  A reminder that for the half-yearly fiscal report of 2025/26 Telstra posted $1.2B in profit. For HALF A YEAR. But the best they can do when their national network is crippled for their back-end ****-up is a half hearted shrug and a milquetoast "oopsie" email.

  🔴 Telstra outage caused by missing software update, undocumented design change Telstra blamed a missing software update and an undocumented equipment redesign for last week's nationwide mobile outage. During maintenance on the Melbourne network time protocol (NTP) server, the device reset to a 2006 date due to an underlying software configuration. The incorrect date propagated across the network, invalidating authentication certificates and leaving customers unable to place calls or access data. Telstra operates three NTP servers in Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth.
