  2. Once available I ordered a NBN service via @Telstra in late November. The NBN Co contractor came on time to install the box and the cable from the street. The old conduit was broken so he said he would need to dig a new conduit or string over head.

  @optus_help @Optus any issues with Optus NBN or 4G/5G in Glen Waverley, VIC? Multiple reports of high Intermittent drops and high latency via both mediums. All devices have been powered cycled. No issues with Telstra!

  @FoxyHardy @RobPeffer It is currently ‘guaranteed’ by legislation but if past efforts are anything to go by (ahem Telstra) then any service obligation provided by Auspost will be not fit for purpose.

  @NBN_Australia @Telstra So @NBN_Australia has advised that they are having to replace damaged cabling and a power supply, which is requiring civil works (so who knows how long this outage is going to last? 🤷). On Sunday evening there was a power glitch in the area, that caused my lights to flicker and safety switch to trip, so evidently the NBN's infrastructure either caused the glitch or it's electrical protections suck.

  @Telstra I just went to Telstra store and was informed that not even buying a new apple iphone 17 was guaranteed to fix this problem, his only solution was to use an old samsung...he then blamed apple for the problem.

  @EvaFox it's not exactly low cost. But, as an Australian rural customer, it's worth every cent. What I love most about it is that is out performs the promised specs 90 percent of the time. The local NBN ( Fixed wireless through Telstra. NEVER worked at the spec they were selling EVER. it would be lucky to do half most of the time and that spec was Tragically bad. so YES, I pay more than the NBN but what I get is probably around 5 to 6 times the speed on average. its a no brainer.

  @bothers_29 @Telstra NBN not much better but at least they finally admitted an outage. In the meantime I’ve unplugged and replugged every outlet in the house and dislodged numerous furious Daddy Long Leg spiders. (Sorry spidey friends, please keep up the war against those arsehole white-tails).

  @Telstra currently experiencing an outage that won't be solved until Monday 6pm, due to NBN or Telstra technicians not working on weekend so I know where to send my complaint.
