@Telstra Is this an Australia wide issue? Parents in NW Tas, their gateway says internet connected, but nothing loads. Is this the cause perhaps? Thanks

@Telstra It was fixed by 8 pm this evening - without the need for anyone to make an appointment to visit my apartment. It isn't easy to report an outage, but when customers do, it would be less offensive if Telstra just took some notice instead of making out I am an idiot telling lies.

@developerjack @Ausgrid There at least used to be a service that Telstra offered where vendors could send an SMS to anyone who had been on selected cell towers within a time window. Usually only for service providers (power, water). Could be something like that?

@Telstra @PipCrook It’s network wide, (country areas anyway) constantly swapping from 3 to 4G, bugger all signal on either. Less than a km from tower getting 3G. We are stuffed when they turn that off.
@clothedvillainy Pick up the telephone this instant and change providers. Life is far, far too short for this aggro. I've been with TeleChoice (uses the Telstra network) for yonks and they're great. 28 buckaroos for 28GB with data banking feels like the sweet spot.
Has anyone had much success using Wi-Fi calling with their mobile? I try to use it via my @Telstra home internet as phone reception is terrible. It is definitely in my top ten of underwhelming experiences. Often no connection, constant call drop outs - any tips welcome.

@Telstra That’s because it was cancelled, however it’s still active from a billing side as my post paid account is attached to it. It’s still showing up under the My Telstra app. This is the answer I always seem to get but it never gets resolved properly. Best to send me a DM.
@Telstra I have to say, following emails with Telstra since September for a change of ownership, & we're still going with it and constantly get people whose English language skills are poor to say the least, is an epic fail for outsourcing & an advertisement to try elsewhere, imo
