    @Telstra @ProfPCDoherty Clearly this did not happen. I understand from your comment above however that the permission Bernie sent you today, in writing, has no retrospectivity. Therefore, our 000 issue, has not, and will not be resolved. Can you confirm this please.

    @Telstra @ProfPCDoherty Update. Telstra said that they could not authenticate Bernie’s authorisation. Now they want him to visit a Telstra Store (2 hours away) to get it fixed. Looks like the next power outage will result in the loss of comms again. I just hope that no one needs any emergency services.

    @Umes5 @MartinCuddihy @Telstra This is very good advice. I had a serious issue with Telstra and my elderly father a few years ago. Contacted Federal member. Telstra trouble shooter sorted it quick smart.
