The energy infrastructure is owned by 1 priv company in SA. They dictate charges. The public cant just simply not buy ( energy ) what they are offering🤷

Anyway, something happened, and he told me the 2nd in charge (Indian) backstabbed him and took over the main position. A year later, the store had hired a lot of Indians and ended up being the worst store in the state lol

Paddy (@Dabatsau) reported@7NewsMelbourne But you still have to go with an Aus provider as they own the leases on the spectrum it uses and are the only ones to provide service in buildings and high density areas. Optus & Telstra already can provide sms via starlink with calls and data in a few years. So no - the major telcos are not under threat.

KateM (@KateMSce) reportedMelbourne, Aust: Has anybody else who is with Telstra (or Boost or ALDI mobile, etc) had calls going silent mid call and having to hang up and call again? Only started yesterday. Not just me .. two other people I know. Have lodged a complaint with @Telstra and waiting.

Brettme (@Brettski_aus) reported@KutthroatSosa @nemagovau Pretty sure the old one only used Telstra network (as it was a licenced Telstra product). Maybe this one broadcasts on all, which would solve a lot of the distribution issue. And in an emergency, a few minutes can mean a lot.
