@Telstra Then why have online chat told me it’s to do with privacy? What a joke. No accountability. Just farm out customer service to teams that are probably offshore, probably getting paid nothing or very little and have no oversight.

@TynanBuckley @MclennanAustin @TelstraBcast Precisely what I was thinking tynan. Optus provided a coverage commitment, so I took a 14 day contract. Optus works great. Full 5 bar service. No drop outs. 500GB. 67.50/mth. Telstra has crap coverage for us.

@gross_grill I believe optus has some decent reception. I'm with telstra which definitely has good reception in city areas but it's a little pricier (and some people say their customer service sucks but I myself have never had an issue with them)

Further to that @Telstra, this case was raised in November and I’ve heard nothing. NOVEMBER. What sort of unprofessional s*itshow is this where someone spending almost $400 a month can’t get a response to an escalated complaint?

@chrismurphys @Telstra Have you considered going into a Telstra store? I had Telstra issues a few years ago and got no resolution after multiple calls. Then visited my local Telstra store and a staff member was able to fix it
