@decryption So pointless. The data's already gone. Lots are switching to Telstra which isn't any better. Cheap MVNOs like Boost and Gomo are the way to go - only pay what you want for the service you want, not lots more than you want for a service you hate... Same goes with big banks.

  • catedempsey Gillian Dempsey (@catedempsey) reported

@Methead13 <hugs> they suck. I went to Yanco for a friend's wedding a week ago and had the disconnect dinosaur for most of the drive on Telstra. We pay but we get crap access from ANY supplier. The joys of oligopolistic competition instead of an absolute monopoly 🙄

  • ToMyPirateShip Yeh🏴‍☠️Nah (@ToMyPirateShip) reported

@BLShiv @_AnthonyWA @Anthony_Klan We only have our mobiles through them but it's our company account. I keep checking the business bank account a few times a day just in case. Only plus I have I never used DD payments or had a card on file, always paid via BPay Our email is through Telstra

  • galumay Ricky🏄🏼‍♂️ (@galumay) reported

@corduroy I cant imagine Telstra is any better at anything. I suspect the basis for choosing a mobile telco is service and cost, they are all forced by the Gov to collect lots of personal data so hard to know how to mitigate the risk of it being compromised.

Was the Optus incident deliberately done to make customer move to another provider. Guessing the fibre optic roll out shows that Telstra was losing its customers. Just interesting to happen when fibre optic option is rolling out.

  • StevenImpson Steven (@StevenImpson) reported

@jamiemgalea Been with them a few years. Never had any trouble with them. They took a while to roll out 5G in Adelaide compared to others but that’s nbd. I have only had one situation where I had no signal and needed to borrow a friend’s Telstra phone to call someone.

  • Scrxtchy Scratch. (@Scrxtchy) reported

@jamiemgalea I'm on felix which runs on the network. Reception is good in places where telstra just seems to underperform (like at crown). **** all service out in regional though

  • Type217 Dino Don Thug (@Type217) reported

@CavillJyckel Belong. It’s the Telstra network but no actual Telstra. Works and cheap.

  • Willtech101 Willtech (@Willtech101) reported

@Telstra @Telstra You realise when I telephone for an account using the number you gave me to call on the bill to enquire balance if you connect me to residential instead of business you cannot help? I had to ring back on the Billing enquiries number in the bill and it is the same thing.

  • PorkandSauce tammo (@PorkandSauce) reported

@Telstra currently experiencing immense issues with new business mobile plan - flagship store can’t help, marrickville metro store can’t help. Two different bills, one account. Nightmare. Phone broken. My husband is deaf. He needs his phone desperately.
