    We're having a power outage for up to 7hrs. I'm registered as a life support customer with energex & origin & telstra so if my power goes out they fix it urgently, but tomorrow is a maintenance issue. There's oil all over some equipment & it has to be replaced. Feeling anxious.

    Did first big banking deal ($14bn Telstra IPO) alongside CSFB (as they were known then). Had some great bankers back then. Sad to see these storied firms fail. Think its effectively impossible to have a non-US global investment bank - unfortunately continues to play out.
