@nat_ofoibles Oh wow, that’s how I felt calling this guy during the week, lucky he already knew, had reported it to Telstra, but they still hadn’t done anything. He was receiving half a dozen calls a day from ppl like me, asking why he’d called & hung up - poor guy😬😔

@HappySinger @Telstra @andy_penn Its ****** that you had to go through it telstra is a o er valued company that has **** all care for there customers or staff. I only use telstra services for my mobile for obvious reasons. If they didnt hold the tower monopoly they would have gone bankrupt along time ago

@Firedingo @ajhill_alan @AntonyGreenABC Telstra had plans to replace its copper network with fibre in the early 90's but unfortunately the Government changed and killed that idea.

@GellyStarr @EmRusciano @Telstra I’ve made a sport out of trying to keep the Indian on the line as long as possible. My best effort was close to 30 minutes and the call only ended when the scammer told me, the victim, to “**** off” and he hung up on me. It was very satisfying at the time.

@Telstra thanks for mucking up a move order and cancelling my internet. Greatly appreciated when two working from home & at home schooling. NBN help line also closes before time stated on call. Modest organisation.

Think theyde prefer freedom but hey Australians will be able to make free calls from public pay phones across the country under a new Telstra initiative. Standard national calls and SMS from Telstra’s network of more than 15,000 pay phones will be made free from Tuesday,

@EmRusciano @Telstra I got one of these! Didnt click ****- but thanks for throwing this info out there

  • jaye_ah Justin Randles (@jaye_ah) reported

@Telstra Cable internet down for 2 weeks, repeated assurances that the outage will be fixed "tomorrow" all false. No ability to speak to someone who can fix the problem, zero interest in customer service. Good at collecting money though. @MichaelLavarch

@Ali_Yesilyurt @Telstra Sorry to hear. They are very poor at solving problems…

  • TheColinputer The Colinputer (@TheColinputer) reported

@Telstra I was getting a bunch of these on couple of my numbers last few days. I figured a bunch of scammers were hiring 3 year olds to type the messages. Given the horrid spelling on some of them.

@kleeweller In 2000 I was working for Telstra in difficult connections. Had a chat with my supervisor and suggested that fibre was the go to solve a vast range of issues. He agreed wholeheartedly, but we both knew that the investment money wasn't there. Labour, 8 odd yrs on saw the benefit.
