@Telstra I want to know how long does it take to connect to the pre paid mobile broadband ? I have had the SIM card on my modem since this AM, but no signal yet

  • WhistleOut_AU WhistleOut Australia (@WhistleOut_AU) reported

Optus has the fastest 5G speeds in Australia, but that doens't mean its the best overall. In April 22 Optus has average 5G speeds of 268Mbps, but its total network average sits at 90Mbps. Telstra wins out overall with 96Mbps median downloads across its mobile network

@JulianBurnside Imo, you are certainly restrained in your complaint. Unfortunately, I want to hurt total strangers after a stint with Telstra😳

And now they are telling me the promotion I was offered, and signed up for, is not valid and wont honour it. @Telstra you are not off to a good start. How the hell do you expect every new customer to deal with this?

  • LJPatton Laurie Patton is The Lucky General (@LJPatton) reported

2/2 Numerous chats with @Telstra operatives. Finally Level 2 technical experts confirmed it’s a “backend” issue that needs fixing. Multiple emails to the CEO and Chief Customer Advocate have been ignored. Bring back @davidthodey or @andy_penn. They cared about customers.

@JulianBurnside My partner had an awful encounter at a Telstra shop yesterday. He queried when told they couldn’t see him for four hours. He just wanted to make a purchase which would have taken five minutes! His questioning this ended by him being asked to leave the store. He’s not happy.

For six months now I’ve been trying to have @telstra deal with appalling 5G mobile phone speeds. Had a friend do a speed test standing right beside me today - 140Mbps. Did my own test - 1.67Mbps. I’ve taken the phone to an Apple Store and they confirmed it’s a Telstra issue. 1/2

@Telstra So we are left with sub dial up speeds without the bill modem screeching or reliability of a modem, because the mobile network drops out every few minutes usually and a dial up modem wouldn't be that unreliable!
