@Telstra Thanks. Did that. Troubleshooting. Escalation to tech support. No resolution. Just resetting the modem for the 5th time today. My paper clip is becoming intimately acquainted with the reset button.

@DawsonEJ @Telstra This was our experience in similar circumstances late last year and it took weeks, and many wasted hours to sort out. The customer service people are polite and well trained but the systems they work with don’t work. Good luck!

  • iOSBrett Brett May (@iOSBrett) reported

@Telstra She tried one Telstra shop and they were extremely rude and unhelpful. So she drove to Dandenong and they were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Sorted out in 10 mins in person, we have been trying with phone support for nearly 2 months.

@Telstra here's a suggestion. When you have an outage, or the speeds gets to less than 1kbps down and 0 up, but still connected, how about auto switching to 4g? That's what it's for isn't it? The 4g backup?

@Telstra 4305. But they now been critical report put in the the second time. A nice lady actually rang me from Telstra and she is now chasing it up. Thai problem is now over 3 months since my first complaint. For Telstra this disgrace

@droverdriver61 You won’t beat Aldi mobile which uses Telstra 4g, on price but most importantly on quick service call responses. Get sim at any Aldi shop.

So! Here’s my day on a plate. Have a piece to file by 2pm. Internet has been down all night. Contact Telstra… 3 hours later, internet still not back on but we have a shiny new NBN contract, for more than we paid before for the same service on the same cable infrastructure. 1/2
