@lucethoughts Yes, by scammers purporting to be from NBN. My service provider is Telstra. Only Telstra could disconnect it.

@lucethoughts I had that today too! I said to the guy this sounds like a scam actually. And he said “oh really you think it’s a scam? Bad news for you no more @Telstra internet ! Anyway I find out in four hours I suppose

@HibiscusHoney17 @Sparkymannz The only reason I use Telstra (Pre-paid - would never touch one of their rip-off plans) is long hours driving in remote areas where theirs is the only (occasional) signal. Otherwise I’d be with someone else like a shot.

@Telstra Hi Amber. I checked for outages in my area of Burwood Victoria and there aren’t any outages. When I used 3G and Telstra rolled out 4G I had the same problem. I switch to 4G. Now you are rolling out 5G I just assume this was Telstra’s way of getting me to move to 5G.
