@BobNew8 The cable is absolutely not on our property. It’s ok, we’re leaving Telstra. Sick and tired paying for a service they refuse to fix ON THEIR END. It’s kind of an example how **** NBN is too. We’re only an hr from Melbourne, but we can’t connect and have to pay extra

Finally someone at Telstra with some helpful advice. Unplug your modem, let it run off the chip and cut NBN out of the conversation. Haven't had a dropout since. I'll plug it back in if they ever get their **** together and fix the lines.

@jaynelshannon @JaneCaro Same. My provider (iiNet) kept at NBN who initially said there was no problem. When they checked again there was one of two cables not working. NBN then replaced cable and fixed the problem. Keep on to Telstra!!

@JaneCaro Need to move to NZ Jane. The fibre to the home is brilliant. I used to reside in one of the north shore suburbs in Sydney and couldn't believe how bad it was...paying more for 100Mbps that dropped out constantly compared to 900Mbps. The LNP butchered it paying Murdoch & Telstra.

@Telstra after my brothers and I have emptied the house in April. I have offered to prepay for the service until then. Every other service provider has been fine to leave accounts in the name of the estate. No threats to cancel services. Telstra says “No” because “it’s our policy”.
