  @mar790032894313 @JoshButler The government is stupid and didn't force the carriers to push the carrier bundles to older iPhones, so the ********* at Vodafail, Floptus and Telstra only pushed it to iOS 26.4 and later! Android devices got it fine though

  @DHughesy And how did they get debt down? Asset Sales. Sold off Telstra. Sold off the Commonwealth Bank. Sold off Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Canberra Airports. Sold off Australian National Railway Assets. Not to mention the the two thirds of our gold reserves they sold.

Here are the known costs and estimates: $10m Initial Planning Taskforce $60-70m Carrier access tolls (Telstra, Optus, TPG) $30m Security architecture & hardening $20-25m Foreign hardware + offshore managed services $5-10m Public awareness, testing & administration Want to know how each allocation is spent? Too bad. Contractors and government use "Commercial-in-Confidence" clauses to keep specific commercial margins and costs hidden from the public eye. A 1300% blowout with no accountability.

  Melbourne, Aust: Has anybody else who is with Telstra (or Boost or ALDI mobile, etc) had calls going silent mid call and having to hang up and call again? Only started yesterday. Not just me .. two other people I know. Have lodged a complaint with @Telstra and waiting.

  @ChinaSelect @RepMoolenaar .@Telstra rebadge their phones, and they are junk. They refused to replace my A5 (2017) (the TIO made them give me 6 month credit to compensate after they shut down 3G/NextG). Vodafone gave me an A17 to replace it,after I was using it as a modem.

  @cb_doge I speak for all of Australia. Bypass Telstra entirely and deliver the service directly. It would be the largest onboarding event ever seen.

  @KobieThatcher It is same with Telstra Optus and Vodafone. Network monitoring is also done from India.

  @CrySlyFly @ialihasaan @Batman2242 Telstra were unwilling to structurally separate to allow the infrastructure side of the business build the new network. Telecom had plans to do fibre upgrades but got shelved when they became privatised.

  @7NewsSydney Switched to starlink , I love it, no issues and I'm paying less than I did with telstra.
