@halften Also the *only* think that kinda worked, slowly, was 4G on my phone (through Telstra). Nothing at all through my work phone or ISP. Took multiple minutes to load broken versions of ISP outage pages.

@Telstra G'day, what seems to be going on in Brisbane with telstra internet? I rang and they stated the internet was fine and told to restart my modem to fix the issue. Considering it's been over 24 hours since the issue started, I'm hoping the issue is resolved soon.

Tassie Outage Update: Services look to be back ONLINE now. Presumably 1 of 2 Telstra links restored. Hopefully Tasmanians are given a full explanation of the outage and what critical infrastructure wasn't managable during this period.

Initially I thought the lack of contact was me working from home today on account of my son having covid symptoms, & my colleagues just being busy…. Then I realised the internet was out & thought it was our crappy Telstra home internet, courtesy of the LNP’s 20th century fix…

@Optus Fix the service! NO PHONE for 24hrs now...this is not on in floods. No communication with family they were very worried. Maybe lucky that after about 12hrs my Telstra NBN came on to at least let ppl know we were okay. Fix the phones! I can't call about appts or family

@Crazyozzie Sure did, Telstra, mobile internet, Exetel FTTP and Belong, mobile phone...all down at same time...first time that's ever happened here...been playing up for a couple of days before it went down too..

@Optus Can't ring as have had NO SERVICE for 24hrs now! In flood impacted areas this is not acceptable. Some on other networks - Telstra - are running so go fix this in Northern NSW now please.
