    @mmmaxi @Anthony_Klan I'm on the Telstra network with another supplier - cheap as chips mobile with good coverage. NBN I ditched for wireless connection - local Perth based provider - consistent connection, speed & cheaper than Optus/Telstra/iiNet.

    @stufromoz I’m in the city now, so I could walk into a store. But this is taking much longer than I want it to already, and it’s a bad sign that other things will be harder than they should be, so I’m thinking of just jumping to Telstra.

    @favfavalore 1/ I agree with your comment, of course. But I have another pet peeve, & it's due to the terrible NBN the eternally-damned Coalition installed. I live in rural QLD, where old copper wiring is almost useless. Telstra's service here is "chancy" at best, but it wouldn't be so awful

    @Telstra plus has to be the biggest scam rewards program. Offering 3 or 4 generation old phones for full retail price and only using incremental point usage scales that don't work favourably for you at all. So done with their garbage. Qantas of the phone biz.
