Telstra - why bother.....been to three stores in Melbourne today only to be told they are all too busy for ‘drop ins’ and appointments unavailable for hours. Still pretty much a monopoly with no customer service. I’m saying YES

@webprofusion @Telstra Finally got through to @Telstra again. They say it's a 3rd party issue and I should call a local IT Technician to investigate the problem. They refuse to get a Telstra technician to investigate and want me to pay for one myself. They are unable to escalate to a supervisor. 😡

@Telstra Hi Telstra. I'm trying to activate data top up on home internet. Account webpage has error 'We're unable to determine how many top ups you have left.' Tried messaging service - not understanding me. Tried phoning but no assistance available. Any other ways to get help?

@Telstra The worst thing about social media community management is that quite often the company says “here’s how to tell us what you just told us using a different method”. No one likes that. It makes 0 sense.

@Telstra You’re asking me to do a lot to fix your network. I’m telling you an issue, the customer focused response is to get it fixed. All you need to do is send someone around and test it. I realise this may not be the way you do it. But your way is broken.

@ZodmanPerth @Telstra So have you tried setting your modem to use an alternative DNS service like 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 - that way you can (possibly) rule out DNS. If it still doesn't work then the block is ip/route based.
