Part two to Telstra, why do Telstra look to customers for sympathy in times of outages, yet nothing is ever fixed in a hurry and they never discount accounts even when services are down for days, it’s all a one way street customers are just expected to cop the poor serviceandcost

Visiting the folks & trying to work out why their internet is so bad... 30 to 60 seconds to load web pages, but speed test is 50Mb easy. Set google DNS on a computer and all of a sudden magic fix. Is Telstra DNS really this bad? Worst part, can't even change DNS at the router.

2/2 Suffice to say, 10 days later, 2 promised delivery dates not honoured, and multiple calls later, finally a helpful @Telstra person advised there was a supply problem. I get that, but would have been nice to have been told that up front rather than promises they couldn't meet.

@wendy_harmer Did anyone say Telstra @MrKRudd had to set up the NBN to fill the void that was left by privatisation of a public network that was neglected by a private company in a failure to keep up with technology and demand thanks libs

@spikey_cat @Telstra @Telestra sounds like mafia but with bits and bytes and stupid people. At least the mafia hold up their end of the bargain. What happened to honest crooks that led us to a world with crooks like Telestra.
