@IhaveabluehatMP @MoarToast @Optus well if we string them along and get their confidence then manage to tell them they are not working for a legitimate call centre, that might help. Real Apple cleaned up and prosecuted all the 100s of fake Apple shops in China I believe. Why can't Telstra & Optus do same?

Hey @telstra, do you have anyone in tech support who knows anything about OneNumber? I can’t transfer mine to my new Apple Watch, and the chat people mumbled something vague about getting the faults team to check the cell tower, which I’m 99% sure isn’t the issue.

@Telstra how can an outage be confirmed if the outage page says something went wrong when the address is selected? Is there another way?

@D_Melissa2 @MoarToast @Optus Did it come via txt or email? I haven’t received anything yet. 👎😾😡 Am pleased Fed govt will increase penalties for companies that fail to protect customer data. Dutton, as resp minister did nothing. Am dumping Optus for Telstra over this. #OptusHack #Optus #OptusClassAction

@shaw_davidm I don't know many people with Optus here because you don't get signal with anyone but Telstra.

@danitreweek @shaw_davidm The problem won't be straight away, it could be in 6 months time when you receive a bill from Telstra for a mobile phone plan, having never received the $1,000 iphone and not used the service

@kels_316 with abb for net, telstra for phone as biggest network and need it for work

@Telstra “Chatting about it” would rather rely on them bothering to call me back, which thus far they haven’t. Can I escalate it as a complaint, so that I’m at least assigned a case manager?
