@Telstra @newscomauHQ @PatsKarvelas Well here's another key fact - I'm pissed that you'd dismiss this employee data breach as minor. Wtf is your plan? Just keep saying it's not THAT bad?

To the media hyperventilating about the "Telstra data breach" right now, it's a list of work emails, not personal or identity information. The worst someone can do with that information is ... email you. Telstra has a standard nomenclature for emails anyway, you can guess them!

@Brodhe A slightly different issue though. This was names and email of employees from 6 years ago. LinkedIn will tell you more about the people who work for Telstra. our emails aren’t exactly hard to figure out, they’re just our names and the domain.

@droverdriver61 No! Telstra saying to do this and that with App which I don’t have because of safety issues. Been scammed once for $10,000 with Telstra leaving a window open while transferring information from old to new phone

@Telstra $100 a month over the last 4 years to get 10-20mbps is ****. I’ve had too many conversations with you guys. Bought boosters, extenders, had people come check wiring, and still no result. I’d much rather pay an extra $30 a month at Starlink to get speeds worth the money.
