    General alert. If receive a robocall advising that your landline service will be cut off unless ........ is a *scam*. Have dealt with three cases last fortnight all aimed at the older. In each case Telstra knows nothing about cutting off service. Robocalls have continued.

    @Telstra Yes. Three appointments made for engineer to turn, all no shows. Numerous attempts via txt and phone. Complaint raised, no response. Telstra has now threatened to void the contract. I simply don’t know what to do next other than raise the matter with the telecom Ombudsman.

    @TheJules1974 Had same problem- apple offered a refurbished replacement. My phone was only 4 months old. I refused so they passed the buck to Telstra who i got it off. Took to telstra & technician fixed it.

    @AlboMP Had the NBN technician in last week. Tells me my internet problem is the **** copper network that Telstra never maintained.

    @AlboMP Contracted to Telstra early 2000's, in an area that looked after difficult connections. Advised management then that the existing copper was failing badly and to look to fibre at that stage. The copper network was overdue for replacement 40 years ago.

    @AlboMP Common site anywhere. It looks like that in the pit outside my place. NBN aside why has Telstra been allowed to get away with this obvious lack of investment in its wire to the home network despite making huge profits?

    @garydropbear @AlboMP The last figures I hears were $76Bn - Rudd plan $72Bn - Turnbull plan With the Turnbull plan they had to BUY the copper network off Telstra.

    @Telstra You will get NO support from Telstra.Go for another company!They use 3rd world overseas support agents that are useless.
