  General alert. If receive a robocall advising that your landline service will be cut off unless ........ is a *scam*. Have dealt with three cases last fortnight all aimed at the older. In each case Telstra knows nothing about cutting off service. Robocalls have continued.

  @ShiannonC Squillions. Telstra, NBN and AFP have been aware for at least 4 months. No idea what they done to resolve this scam issue.

  @Prowerock1 @VoteLewko @Starlink I myself ended up with a Telstra 5G modem also. It just shows that NBN was not the way to go. Even back when they decided to go with NBN it was obvious it was dated technology and for Australia it has never delivered the service it needs.

  @Telstra Your customer service team are disgusting. They mixed up NBN and Optimcomm and not one person answered a single question I asked. Absolutely disgusting. I want to raise a formal complaint.

  @VoteLewko @Starlink Unfortunately Low Earth Orbit / Starlink systems won't replace terrestrial service (like Telstra) for many years because they can't provide the bandwidth across multiple frequencies (yet) that are needed to service all of the customers - particularly in population dense areas.

  @VoteLewko @Starlink 1000%. I can stand in the middle of Newcastle and get barely 2 bars of 5G sometimes on Telstra. It’s rubbish. It’s intermittent. And you pay a premium for the service.

  The power was out recently, just came back on. Telstra sent a text asking how the power outage was affecting my internet? Im not sure what type of special order electricity they use, but l use the run of the mill electricity. No electricity, no modem!!!!!! 🤡🌏

  @OneNewsAu optus announced the partnership with starlink on July 12 2023 and telstra announced it on July 3rd 2023, Telstra starlink messaging started June 3 2025 optus? well nothing. "covers blackspots telstra never will" that might make sense if telstra also didn't get starlink messaging
