If receive a robocall advising that your landline service will be cut off unless ........ is a *scam*. Have dealt with three cases last fortnight all aimed at the older. In each case Telstra knows nothing about cutting off service. Robocalls have continued.

Both said “5G Fixed Wireless not available at your address.” He checked a cell tower map anyway. Half a dozen towers within a couple km. During maintenance on the Melbourne network time protocol (NTP) server, the device reset to a 2006 date due to an underlying software configuration. The incorrect date propagated across the network, invalidating authentication certificates and leaving customers unable to place calls or access data. Telstra operates three NTP servers in Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth.
