General alert. If receive a robocall advising that your landline service will be cut off unless ........ is a *scam*. Have dealt with three cases last fortnight all aimed at the older. In each case Telstra knows nothing about cutting off service. Robocalls have continued.

@millymae @Telstra Totally! absolutely BS. even if you do persist for 10 minutes connecting to it then out to the internet, it kicks you off the incredibly slow connection before you can do anything. complete waste of time. That's why i negotiated more data.

@NBN_Australia Hi Maya, yes did all of that (went through all those steps as usual) Day 3 and still horrid with Telstra switched us over to 4G which is hopeless.

  • Idealaw
    Kay Lam-MacLeod (@Idealaw) reported

@kliplet My problem is Optus 4G isnโ€™t available here and Telstra 4G is $75 for 200GB, plus $400-800 for the device.

@Glenina57 @Josephh45101447 Because you demand the cheapest possible service, Telstra use a Phillipines based call centre staffed by zero Indians.

@Telstra Just wanting to knew if there is any cost to cancel my contract OR change plans with Telstra. The app says $0 for both but just want a confirmation. I got a reply setting the expectations of what messenger is at 9:20am yesterday. Iโ€™ve heard nothing since.

@millymae @Telstra No doubt you've seen my "conversations" with @telstra here. I never call, I always have conversations in text, so I can copy/paste what they say back at them. I don't blame the underpaid, under-trained, poorly-resourced staff, because the problems are higher up.

What the point of Telstra building towers then when developers build houses close to them they turn the power down so low you can't get a signal. Radiation emissions. Why are they allowed to build houses so close.
