@K8J444 Kate. I received an email and txt from Optus saying my account/ID has possibly been hacked. Problem is that I’m actually with Telstra and have been all my life

telstra just had a data breach. what is it with aussie companies and **** security?

  • deanja110 DEANJA🇦🇺 (@deanja110) reported

@Mbridget21 @Fiona06732795 Hmmm, now I wonder, what could possibly go wrong with that "Digital ID". 🤔🤔🤔given what we've seen with Optus during the past week, and then today Telstra, and just here in the Newcastle Hunter area, a disability service has had their data hacked during the past couple of days.

  • MissLizzieZiZi 𝔼𝕝𝕚𝕫𝕒𝕓𝕖𝕥𝕙 (@MissLizzieZiZi) reported

@Telstra there has been an internet outage in Adelaide all day and all night as per your website what is causing the issue and when will it be fixed? I can’t use the Internet or stream any services!!! 😡

  • AlexDGlengarry Alex McDonnel (@AlexDGlengarry) reported

@JonesHowdareyou My pleasure. That 'advice' was given to me by a Telstra tech person based in Sydney about 4 yrs ago when we were having some problems with the changeover to NBN. I sometimes have to do those things these days after we have power outages.

  • Robert69331398 RobertLButt (@Robert69331398) reported

@miffyjayne My Telstra address had a 30 minute issue due to there updates. Came good with reset

  • manpageman Respecting the virus to own the left (@manpageman) reported

@Telstra Done. This is harder than it needs to be. Your comms people need to understand that having to bother people on social media to find out how to deal with the issue isnt really satisfactory.

  • R_Ebdon Ramon Ebdon (@R_Ebdon) reported

@troyhunt I mean ... scraping Linkedin for current/ex Telstra employees, then doing firstname.lastname@<telstra email domain> would get you the same info. This is not far off public info, so it's more the way it was obtained being the problem than the data itself.

  • skaramuush Brooke Mayo (@skaramuush) reported

@Telstra @newscomauHQ @PatsKarvelas Which means my data is included. Fix it.

  • NinjaDave29 Dave (@NinjaDave29) reported

Who else thinks that the Optus and Telstra ‘data security breach’ story is a croc of ****? And not just another ploy to take us into the next stage of the WEF agenda of control and microchipping.
