@9NewsMelb Another Vic Gov stuff up. Imagine the big bucks the Risk Management team are on and they had no back up plan for Telstra network failure.

@heidimur Amazing how she expects compensation from Telstra but has very strict limits (that deny nearly everyone) compensation for tyre damage Jacinta's failure to maintain the roads has caused.

@_Gaffa_ @techAU I feel a bit sorry for Telstra around this one. I don't think most people appreciate how complex telco systems are. Yes, they should be accountable when things fail. But failures WILL happen, occasionally.

Hmm. Why do i get the feeling a new monitoring system has been installed on the Telstra network. that "outage" was probably poor configuration during it's rollout.

@AlboMP Offshore Indians caused the Telstra outage that lead to 632 calls to 000 not being able to connected. Nearly all requiring urgent follow up welfare checks. There was a 2nd outage last night also. Train systems have also been down in Melbourne for 2 days due to the outage.

@JacintaAllanMP Telstra is most expensive service provider and can't even manage their network properly? We expect some resignations from executives on this failure.

Luxury cross-country train trips have been thrown into chaos after a nationwide Telstra outage disrupted the Australian Rail Track Corporation’s regional network, forcing services to stop. I'm not specialist, but after yesterday's Telstra outage, I am wondering why we are paying millions to America for subs. To completely crash any country you only need to smash their communication systems. #telstraoutage.

@PaulBongiorno Pathetic!! It is patently clear that Telstra deliberately created the problem, specifically targeted Bongiorno, is taking extra time to resolve it, and will not advise Paul what to do to restore the service. Pathetic
