Excuse me, @Telstra what’s this about putting me on a new, more expensive plan with data speed caps. How rude. One of the other but both is a bit ****. claiming cpi adjustment and diminish service quality at the same time is unethical.

@GeorgeMonbiot I had similar problems with my TELSTRA. A small town Telstra shop sold my 90 year old mother multiple mobile phones, each with a new contract. The Ombudsman eventually sorted it out, but TELSTRA maintained it was not their problem. Their stance was it was the franchise outlet.

@mcquillanator Currently in Chatham-Kent and my domestic carrier (Rogers) is still out of service. Fortunately my overseas phone (Telstra) can connect to the Bell network and I can make some calls.

@Telstra @mcquillanator Thanks for your concern Telstra (the same can’t be said for @RogersHelps who hasn’t answered my tweet from earlier today). My service is working quite well in Canada which sadly can’t be said for my Rogers domestic service.

@Telstra any issues with mobile service at Redfern station at the moment? Specifically on the T4 train line? As the past few days there has been absolutely zero reception passing through Redfern station away from city, but picks up again outside tunnels I.e around Macdonaldtown?

Hmmm.

So #telstra have effectively got $11.40 out of me for no service or product. Unless I take an hour to go into their store and kick up a ruckus I’ll never see the money again. Even then I probably wouldn’t have a chance of recovering it.

@expectproblems It felt weird because it's only prepaid but a while back I just bought a year of service from Boost because it was so cheap + it uses Telstra's network (and I just don't use that much data)

@Telstra Well it seems to be going onto 3G quite a bit and stays there. Only when you turn the mobile network off the phone and turn it back on does it go back to 5G/4G

@Telstra When is the 3G network being shut off?

@elder_peter @GeorgeMonbiot I had POT over my mother's financial affairs due to a TELSTRA problem. That didn't help much in my case. The Ombudsman eventually rescued us.
