@bullnala @rubin_angela Sadly not always. But if you keep tagging them daily they get around to you eventually. Ombudsman is a much quicker route plus you have the satisfaction of knowing Telstra get hit with a $500 admin fee for every complaint. I’ve found the TIO to be really helpful

  • Wendy2068 Wendy (@Wendy2068) reported

@rubin_angela I spent 13 hours on the Telstra app recently trying to resolve a problem. Each time I responded it took them about an hour to respond..... lucky I as at my desk working so could continue..... but UNACCEPTABLE. It wasn’t resolved even after that amount of time

@CGrandma55 @rubin_angela Even that doesn't work with Telstra. The senior managers in Australia who could fix things have no interest in even hearing from Australian customers about how abysmal their call centres are. BTW if you only spent an hour trying to get a simple answer, you did well.

@Telstra Hello, my home internet is going extremely slow and initial tests said it was a billing issue, (wasn't due yet) am wondering what's going on?

@rubin_angela I once called the Ombudsman about Telstra. I lodged a complaint & then was given a new number to contact Telstra. It was the "I've spoken to the Ombudsman, don't **** me around " number & my issue was resolved on the spot.

@rubin_angela Sounds like you contacted an overseas call centre. I've had this experience many times, having to explain my problem repeatedly - on average, I would say 7-8 times PER CALL. It's impossible to tell anybody in Telstra who can change things - they don't want to know.

  • ToneSaysGoLeft 🤥LNP ARE LIARS🤥 (@ToneSaysGoLeft) reported

@rubin_angela Best thing we did was tell @Telstra to fwck off. Worst company to deal with. Offshore call centres, constant scammers using their company name cold calling. They just don't give a 💩 about their customers or scammers using their business name. Better companies around than Telstra

  • Danny_Disco65 Dan Anderson🕺 (@Danny_Disco65) reported

@peters_malcolm @rubin_angela Change 3 mobiles from Telstra at $185pm total to Moose mobile which uses Optus network $14 pm each for 5gb Data not a major priority

  • BrookeHarris470 Brooke Harris (@BrookeHarris470) reported

@rubin_angela I spent months and about 20 hours of calls trying to cancel my Telstra service. The only way you can achieve anything is to make a complaint to the telecommunications ombudsman who were great. ITS THE ONLY WAY!

Pleased to report that Franz Kafka is alive, well, and working in customer services at Telstra.
