@Telstra Yes, apparently planned outage, but with no warning. Will be off for the rest of the week. Many people very angry about this!

The electronic sock Indi wears at night, to monitor her heart rate and oxygen levels, tripped the alert alarm 6 times last night due to no reading. She's fine, but the cause was our internet continually dropping out. Fix up your mess so I can sleep, @Telstra (Glen Iris location).

@landry235 Starlink? Works well, super fast. Supports wifi calling. Also, @Telstra sells a box (surprise surprise) and aerial called TGO to boost the service they can’t be arsed to provide. It’s about $1200 plus install. I have one to boost 3G *in the house*

@qldtrials @Telstra My internet dropped at 1.15 today, I tried the app to reboot the modem, no change. I went to 4g to contact T customer service, advice was “ it was a known outage, service due to be restored by Wednesday” tried again an hour later and service was restored … outage window estimate

@acccgovau Is this a joke? I work in the space and rest assure prices haven’t come down and speeds haven’t increased. Worse, the like of Telstra & Optus have often moved to reduce speeds. Sorry, you’re talking to the wrong folks.

@TonyHWindsor @DrAMVRostramAO The USA sold off its telephony. Americans have to go through half a dozen phone companies now when they make a call inside their own country. Service most definitely falls. Look at Labors NBN. We bought back Telstra
