@redruby17 @Optus I’m with Vodaphone for phone and nbn. The only problem with Vodaphone is coverage. I’ll have to go with a Telstra type to get coverage in northern Oz, WA etc

For those who’ve been having phone issues of late, it’s NOT your handset that’s the problem. I discovered yesterday that Telstra has already switched off approx 70% of the 3G phone network! Making matters worse, TELSTRA is experiencing significant issues with 4G VoLTE.

  • the_LoungeFly Arioch (@the_LoungeFly) reported

@redruby17 @Optus If you have 5G in your area then consider 5G internet service. Either Vodafail or Telstra. Make sure the speed is not shaped. For example 5G can reach speeds of 800megabit. But they my cap the speed to 100. So don’t bother with that. I’m on $80/month 800gig data, no speed cap.

@Works_Fudge ALP's plan was to give Telstra $11 billion to disconnect customers from CAN and HFC networks to connect to NBN. Libs just amended the existing agreement to use the networks as well. Telstra's HFC network was used for Foxtel and internet.

@redruby17 @Optus Telstra. And if you pay something per fortnight to cover your bill, keep yourself just a little in credit, the end result is you are never hounded because your account is overdue. And if you can afford it buy your own phone. Some things in your life need to be stress free.
