@MeredithGow1 @RonniSalt @Telstra The telecommunications ombudsman's office told me that they get so many complaints that they can only give the necessary attention to a small fraction. But they do let the company know they've received a complaint so that might help.

Yesterday, ALMOST there but SIM wouldn’t activate online. Another hour of my life wasted calling, only to be left on hold while I tested/fixed it myself. 🤬

@RonniSalt @Telstra Yep, the only way I got anywhere after weeks of trying to get issues sorted was to go to the Ombudsman. That got some attention. Meanwhile more staff being laid off 🙄

@trilognath @RonniSalt @Telstra Piped at the post by Centrelink but otherwise, you're right. I've spent thousands of hours dealing with their incompetence, recalcitrance and customer hostility and all I have to show for it is white hair.

@RonniSalt @MeredithGow1 @Telstra This is exactly where we are at with them too. My unflappable husband just about blew his stack going round and round in circles. I have no idea how they manage to stay in business with such appalling service. We’ve decided to ditch them and hope the new provider can fix it.

@MeredithGow1 @Telstra Thank you Meredith. Looks like that's where we're going. Two months of pleading & requesting a technician to fix the internet that has never worked. Nobody bothers to call back. Nobody turns up. It's like sticking your head down a toilet & screaming into an empty septic tank.
