    Can a telco be stupid @andy_penn ? You bet it can. Technician arrives to connect NBN, says I can't do it until the line is connected. Call Telstra, ok, we'll send a technician. Technician arrivrs to connect NBN, etc etc etc. Dumb as dogshit company.

  • tonyvibo Tony (@tonyvibo) reported

    @BroHilderchump @zerogeewhiz I have a wardrobe full of Telstra routers, it's the fix all solution to the problem instead of sending out a technician. The current Router does have 4G backup but when the NBN drops out it takes a few minutes to switch to 4G and it's annoying if watching a show online.

    @meadea @MelanieTait .@pennytel , $19.99 a mont. 8gb. Other plans. Telstra network.

  • Gundy38940340 Gazza (sewer rat) (@Gundy38940340) reported

    @MelanieTait Telstra plan for $50, never go over never use all the data 60gig

  • DavidJay_AU David Jay (@DavidJay_AU) reported

    @RachaelHasIdeas @MelanieTait There are differences with the network coverage footprint, speed (including no 5G) with Belong and the other Telstra MNVOs. But most people would not notice the difference. Boost is another good option it's a type of partnership with Telstra & has better coverage than the others

  • SophieTrevitt Sophie Trevitt (@SophieTrevitt) reported

    @MelanieTait I was spending over $100 a month but now I am on a $39 p/mth plan with unlimited calls/texts through Optus and never run out of data! BUT telstra has superior coverage so if you travel regionally or go out bush regularly telstra is definitely better.

  • nenieb Dr Jeannine Baker (@nenieb) reported

    @MelanieTait We switched to Boost - owned by Telstra & uses whole Telstra network, but cheaper than Telstra plans. I pay $30 p/m for 20gb data. And no contract. Vodafone & Optus were terrible where I live (south coast NSW).

  • troy__himself troy himself (@troy__himself) reported

    @MelanieTait I pay $34 with Moose Mobile and get 50gb of data and $400 of international calls. Uses Optus network but it works fine for me, I don’t need regional coverage. BYO phone. I left Telstra as their customer service was beyond terrible, no regrets and should have gone sooner.

  • SkillsyV2 SkillsyV2 (@SkillsyV2) reported

    @timothy_89 $25 pm with Aldi with 20gb using the Telstra network
