Philippa Smith (@PhilippaASmith) reported@Lindajwil @Telstra Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues Linda. Organisations have so little consideration for customers and it is unacceptable when, like you, they are having to deal with so much.
-
Paul Cashmere (@paulcashmere) reported@markbouris "no national debt .. yep zero" because he sold over $70 billion in public assets to pay down government debt, with major privatizations including Telstra (approx. 49% in 97-99), the remaining Commonwealth Bank shares, all major federal airports, and the National Rail Corporation.

Craig Gardiner (@cwgardiner) reported@telstra reception in Vermont South (near Sewart close) is crap. I logged a call (INC 40508228) as a @Telstra Gold member 6 months ago, today they told me it was fixed. It ain’t fixed. Still no 4G/5G and I’m paying for 4G backup on my NBN modem. This is beyond a joke.

Angry G (@PissedOfAussie) reported@Telstra twice this week you have sent me an email re network updates and service interruptions, both times 40 minutes after the scheduled start time, both times interruptions already under way. How does this help someone working from home on those days? I'll tell you, it doesnt.

Dodgy Looks (@LooksDodgy) reported@robb_j_m Live out bush and had Satelite NBN - absolute crap - $89 pm. Telstra signal - absolute crap - $74 - 50Gig - pm. Swapped - Starlink - perfect internet and wifi calling - $139 pm - unlimited. Downgraded sim card to a cheap telstra operator - $25 pm. So total internet and phone went from $163 to $164 pm. That extra $1 quadrupled the speed and reception!

Bob Dee (@BobDee12) reported@AugusteReign @belinduhpyne @Ryandally08 Opportunity lost. This is a major problem with privatisation Federal Government owned and operated COR etc Oz was a mixed economy once which gave Oz a high standard of living L/NP wants taxpayers to pay for nuclear. Where are Oz true entrepreneurs? CBA, Telstra, CSL etc etc gone

/. Gwynne (@gwynne007) reported@Trev__Says @susan_taylor07 @cjoye None of them would have been profit making assets. Telstra would have been a big slow behemoth that got pants’d by Optus and Vodafone. Our gas wouldn’t have been developed - it took 15 years from sale to production. And we would have been paying huge amounts of interest.
