@markrprior @GrogsGamut @Telstra Yeah but difference is you can actually talk to them to resolve an issue. Twitter telstra is just a PR sham.

@birdnoises Only if significantly under (more than 50 percent) the average speed indicated in your contract.I nailed Telstra when I moved from Optus for a few months for breach of service contract when they tried to charge me early departure fees.

@ChappoPaul @Telstra My condolences for your loss. I’m just about to file a formal complaint with the Telco ombudsman against them. They’ve still not closed my account even after making me jump through many hoops including going into a physical store! Hope you get your issue sorted soon.

@GrogsGamut @Telstra This happened to me when trying to cancel an account. Use the chat bot was the only option, and that kept referring me the limited amount of functions you can perform online. It’s ridiculous ‘customer service’

Mark Prior (@markrprior) reported
@GrogsGamut @Musing_Dayzed @Telstra But Aussie resell Telstra as a mobile service.

@GrogsGamut @Telstra That’s literally the worst system ever

Christian Meier (@hoser_meier) reported
@Telstra (phone rep) doesn't mention any call out fees at time of booking, and then the text confirmation says I approved it? Nice try, cancelled. Not an internal household IT issue, it's an @NBN_Australia fault. Pay for independent technical advice people, don't get screwed over

@JaneMarwick @Toll_Group We sent parts to a southern customer about 2 years ago... has never been seen since! Ended up meeting the customer in Perth and handing it to them. Not to mention the overcharging I managed to get over $700 over wrong charges from them. Just like Telstra... options?????

@GrogsGamut @Telstra Telstra and companies of similar ilk just don't get it. There's a false ecomony in low cost overseas call centres. Just one contact with local customer service - after days of no resolution - resolved my complaint. This has happened time and time again.
