No NBN satellite internet out here due to heavy rain 😡 but I have one bar of Telstra 3G! it’s raining so heavily the house guttering is overflowing. Getting emergency alerts for flooding at Clunes. Stay safe everyone.

  • trentslatts Slatts (@trentslatts) reported

Starting to think 5G does cause Covid because it sure as **** doesn't improve my phone service. What's doing, @Telstra?

  • clairebennett38 Mummy Bennett (@clairebennett38) reported

@Telstra We have been on the app, troubleshooting through there. That is where it said there was a fault. Contacted thr treat via Chat. Hubby been on chat now for over 3 hours with no resolution. This is not the first time we jave had to deal woth incompetent staff who seem clueless.

  • PostingGeneral real halo lore facts (@PostingGeneral) reported

Optus 4G pull down 1-3 mbit in some areas and .5 in others. Optus 5G non existent. Friend on Telstra can get 20 mbit on 5G in some parts and 3G in others. Apartment wifi gets around 10 mbit in some places but 1 mbit at the TV so can’t stream anything on it lol.

  • clairebennett38 Mummy Bennett (@clairebennett38) reported

@Telstra It's nothing to do with the 4G back up. It's the WiFi. When we run a diagnostic on the app, it keeps telling us there is an issue with the modem and to contact you. But 3 hours of faffing about without a result is not acceptable.

  • yabbietol Terry Ó Laoire 🚒 🌏🔋 (@yabbietol) reported

@QuentinDempster In area without NBN,was told I needed to go from ADSL to Skymuster satellite. I did what was expected of me by NBN & found after few months NBN was far@worse than flakey 60 yr old copper ADSL. Went back to ADSL2(thanks Telstra) ok service for years now. NBN satellite is rubbish!

I suspect @Optus has about the worst customer service when you want to cancel an account. Website takes you in circles and you end up on hold for who knows how long. What happened to this once great carrier. Telstra looks like getting my business after nearly 30 years

  • LisaGlass200 Birds Aren't Real (@LisaGlass200) reported

@SpudBenBean @slsandpet Do you have to be a Telstra customer for that to work?

  • trentontheradio Trent (@trentontheradio) reported

@mabster @Telstra It’s the reason I was on Optus network when I still worked in Swift Street. You couldn’t depend on the speed within a year of 4G being enabled.

  • clairebennett38 Mummy Bennett (@clairebennett38) reported

@Telstra It's our WiFi. We have a Gen 3 and it keeps dropping out. My Husband has been on chat for nearly 3 hours. One minute thr modem was going to be replaced, now it's not. Then they were going to book a technician. Now they're not. We're very frustrated with the lack of service.
