✅ Last night about 8:15pm the schools internet connection was restored. The DOE has reported that Telstra identified and fixed the fault. We continue monitoring. All services onsite are now working (problems? reboot first) and home access to Gateway is restored.

@Turtigirl1 @Telstra Don’t be afraid to escalate to Ombudsman either. They get a fine for every complaint.

@Telstra Thanks Lara but pfffft. Why say MORE reliable than family if you're trying to acknowledge that you're not perfect too. It's a terrible ad but that's ok.

@Telstra Hi Shaz. Think I'll collate the information from today's calls and the plan upgrade from 2021 and email it through after checking the appropriate consumer law on the subject against the T's and C's of the plan that was recommended to 'fix' the issue.

@Telstra The fault is your service you provide... it can't handle the amount of customers you have when they flood the coast weekends and holidays. This had been ongoing for over a decade... If it requires an antenna then provide one at your expense or remove more recent customers. Thx

@Paul72309704 @StefanTheNurse Still happen? There's no GSM networks in Australia except maybe something left on Xmas island. Telstra shut theirs down 2016. Vodafone and Optus by end of 2018. 3G networks didn't do it.

@IanSamuels3 That's not the NBN then, paid WiFi dongle is perhaps with a network like Telstra or Optus. I get the NBN through a private company, it is 50 Mbps and limitless downloads, for $53.50/mth. Then you can see more than WIN, I see the world load of programs.
