Hey @Telstra I'm out at Jeir, near Murrumbateman nsw. Can you tell me why my 4G mobile broadband has a download speed of 1mbs, it's killing me. You can't provide any other service to my address, and always Spruik about how good your service is

He was spruiking a company called Messages on Hold — the likely soundtrack to your Telstra customer service calls. He was at Kingsgrove Sports Centre with model Bessie Bardot. The room was packed, he addressed everyone like a long-lost friend.

@JustJenKing @woolworths @Telstra Whatever happened to manual transactions that they used to do when eftpos machines first came in? When things went down you would get out a machine, run the card through, add the details and get the customer to sign, send it to the bank. We rely on technology too much.

  • Robert6420 Robert Tunn (@Robert6420) reported

@Telstra Perhaps TELSTRA would be wiser to use some of it's advertising dollars wasted on the " big plug" to fix it's disgraceful customer service performance for customers?

  • mitchelldarts darts (@mitchelldarts) reported

@Telstra Service returned about 6pm(ish) yesterday and seems to be as per normal 🙏

  • jhem1733 Judith Hemsworth (@jhem1733) reported

@JustJenKing @woolworths @Telstra While some businesses clearly lack heart, responsibility sits with governments, local, state & federal to manage large emergency events. Clearly they have no plan and seem to not have any intention of developing one. Before you vote ask yourself where your tax $$ have gone.

@Telstra l received a txt message from telstra saying they have identified an issue with our internet and to contact them. Is this legit?

  • Fledglinggood Fledglingingoodcompany (@Fledglinggood) reported

@JustJenKing @woolworths @Telstra Cash is still King. Please continue to use cash whenever possible to ensure no excuse to stop future circulation. When using self service, politely inform staff that your money is as good as any other, you shouldn’t be held back for using cash and their 8 tills should be open.

@JustJenKing @woolworths @Telstra When I worked at ToysRUs back in the day, they were kind of a ****** company, customer-service wise, but even they had the old manual credit card equipment. We'd just ring up the stuff, imprint the card, and drop the slip in our bank bag. We could eat the possible losses.

  • llewcom Llewellyn Comms (@llewcom) reported

@Telstra I have sent a DM. Am in tweed heads sending work emails and making calls. The map does not show Kingscliff as being impacted by the outage. Would love a clear rather than nebulous explanation. I feel devastated for those in flood affected areas who have no comms at all.
