@SpotlightForYou @Telstra If you own your own phone, you've got the pick of the lot. I got mine with Aldi. Great service for a miserly $15/month. 3GB per month, all the talk, text and MMS. Left over data rolls over, at present I have 33GB. They use Telstra's 4G system.

@megscl We'd love to help out Megan, but there isn't much we can offer in the meantime. We do suggest grabbing a wireless broadband connection while you wait and Telstra does have some great deals, as it's not something we supply. -Viktor

@lucienlolz @RonniSalt @Telstra Condescending bastards & definitely not what you pay for. They seem to disregard loyalty as a matter of course; same attitude as private health insurance; unable to justify fee increases despite help from taxpayers, who cant afford their insurance, they rudely dismiss enquiries.

@MeredithGow1 @RonniSalt @Telstra Whenever I strike problems with a telco's customer service I immediately insist on email comms only and cc the Ombudsman whenever there's a new roadblock. They soon get the hint.

@last_jones @Telstra I'm just sick of the double-standards. These corporations reserve the right to put up the price whenever they like without warning. But if Idecide to pay less whenever I like, they'll unleash the debt-collecting hounds on me&give me a bad credit rating. It's unacceptable treatment

@RonniSalt @Telstra and when you ask them why you should stay with @Telstra, they respond with.. 'you need to do whats right for you'...which sounds awfully like 'yeah we hear ya but **** off already'...

@richard_jayne @RonniSalt @Telstra Ronni's solution looks appealing doesn't it? My last straw was when they sent me a modem that I didn't want and didn't ask for. Then they sent me a threatening letter about returning it. Stuff them!
