    @LesStonehouse 5 years later you were battling to get a trade apprenticeship unless you had year 12 or a relative who knew someone,... even then. The Midland Railway Workshops were just winding. Chamberlain trackers were just closing down their Perth factory. PMG/Telstra stopped training.
