Hey @Telstra I'm out at Jeir, near Murrumbateman nsw. Can you tell me why my 4G mobile broadband has a download speed of 1mbs, it's killing me. You can't provide any other service to my address, and always Spruik about how good your service is

@Telstra three days of trying to get Telstra to send a technician to restore my phone and internet service, a formal complaint and absolutely no progress. I’m sitting down to unload my times, dates, reference numbers with the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman. Happy New Year!

@Telstra It is interesting that telstra always assumes it is a problem connecting to the internet as a whole. Internet is fine. @NetflixANZ thinks you are using IPv6 or something like that, which makes them think we are using VPN, and they block content because of it.

When did Telstra’s reception become so terrible. I recently changed from Optus remembering the good old days when the T were miles ahead. Seems far from it now.

@Ballyurra Rural: were frustrated at Telstra wireless NBN (never 50/25 - usually 5/3) over years, b4 trying iinet. Amazing improvement - same cell, different modem/company. Same price ($80) works beautifully. Had Starlink ordered, but cancelled, as current iinet ok, even while wfh.

@Geofftheplumber @Telstra Fascinating… haven’t had those problems, but I am based right next to the Melbourne CBD.

@Ballyurra It’s probably Turnbull’s ratshit NBN BUT iiNet service is much nicer than Telstra. Also, log a case with the telecommunications ombudsman online. You get a case reference number immediately and Telstra move your complaint to a team that can actually give you your money back.

@Telstra You’re damn right they will be Vicky. And I am asking for an apology, a large credit to my account and a very large FINE for failing me on every level these last two weeks. Amazing you have people manning Twitter 24/7 but no technician is available until 4 January.

@bemusedoz @psyclaw HFC. Agree, the NBN network is the problem. I'm switching to an ISP that will answer the phone and talk about the problem instead of trotting out the Telstra party line. @launtel sound good.
