    @flexibledragnet @JonDeeOz @Telstra Then don't order from a company that provides phone support. Call centres can't go searching through all the accounts with the same name. They search on name and dob. That's how they protect other people's privacy.

    @flexibledragnet @Telstra You don't seem to understand that Telstra commerce is not restricted to online. They guarantee phone service as well, unlike say Amazon. And when you call you have to id yourself. The OP sook with the bill could have paid the account online as well without id. ATO, same.

    @MoarToast Cost me $300 per year upfront with Telstra = $25.00 per/month. I need the Telstra coverage as we do a lot of country driving & the others have poor coverage in country areas.

    @Telstra Optus hasn't got any of my documents stored so I'll stay with that plan even tho it's bad value only 20gb data for 65 dollars, I don't want to give my Id to anyone in light of what's happening

    @hallstrong1 @MoarToast Yes, that's why I'm with Telstra too. I was with a different carrier, years ago, and had pretty much zero coverage as I was travelling around the Yorke Peninsula. I decided that being on my own without coverage was a bad idea and switched.
