-
Helmut Brodesser (@hbrodesser) reported@JasonClareMP How about using unsubstantiated, incorrect Sinophobic fear mongering to distract from the real reason for the Telstra blackout, like you and Barnaby Joyce did with your moronic suggestion of a link between China’s rocket test and the Telstra blackout.
-
Robyn Tan (@robyntan) reportedWas it an old $30,000 server or old GPS receiver? One or the other. #telstra outage error

wild (@wild68223259) reportedIt was all the go in the 1980s to make up for the inflation created by the Vietnam War and the abrupt increase in oil prices. That’s when we got the economic rationalists - tax cuts for the rich, razor gangs for everyone else. Welfare and public service cuts, deregulation of banks and privatisation. Back story is interesting - same folks at work behind the scenes. Yes, GDP went up, but wealth only flowed to the top end. At least Labor under pressure, only semi privatised Telstra and retained controlling shares. Qantas was different. Comm Bank should have at least mostly stayed public -my Mum only had a chance at getting a house because of it, but if we add in subsidies and failures, it has largely cost taxpayers far more and not just financially.
-
Bardy Bigglesworth (@BardyBiggles) reported@VibewireCentral Great to see the reasons why @Telstra network failed. More money to shareholders other than into the network. #auspol
-
Paddy (@Dabatsau) reported@7NewsMelbourne But you still have to go with an Aus provider as they own the leases on the spectrum it uses and are the only ones to provide service in buildings and high density areas. Optus & Telstra already can provide sms via starlink with calls and data in a few years. So no - the major telcos are not under threat.
-
Robert dyer (@RdyerDyer) reported@Ausbobsmit She is totally ******* mad .Watching her today belittling the Telstra executives for the outage the other day and all from somebody who has never had to run a business. She has never employed anybody or had to pay wages .With technology you can always expect things to go wrong ffs
-
Dj Kidu (@KiduDj) reported@Ryandally08 Wrong, taking leaves while in office is what they raised issue when Telstra CEO who earned leave was away. Hypocrisy by Queen. Also read that after queen ,Princess will lead the nation?
-
nunsense (@nunsense12) reported@FetchStep Yet another reason Telstra should never have been privatised. It's time we started another government telco.
-
Amicus Curiae (@AmicusCuri99068) reportedoh yeah WE KNEW THAT! coverage went to **** and still IS!4gs ****** It’s true; the 3G shutdown created mobile coverage ghost towns Telstra chief executive Vicki Brady has revealed a Starlink workaround for Australians unable to call triple-0 after the 3G shutdown created mobile dead zones. (paywalled Tiser)

John Young (@JohnYoung146083) reported@7NewsSydney Are @Telstra suggesting that all 3 network time servers were/are hosted in the same physical chassis? Seems fundamentally flawed? Also, do they not continually scan for vulnerabilities and end of service? @sarahinthesen8 something sounds fishy.
