    @NeptunianDreamz Even Telstra's kinda stinks these days. Went down to the Bellarine Peninsula this weekend and there were so many dropouts.

    So, we are now being told by Telstra, that the Indian code cutters, misunderstood the message about how to fix a problem they knew about, but did not communicate what the so called fix was The Telstra Net Result was to fix a problem create another bigger prblem And that CEO shelia keeps her $multi-million job?     @FarCueCunce Contractor for NBN Co. My olds were hooked up 10yrs ago and while they used the existing Telstra conduit to the house, the inside install was terrible - left a big hole in the wall behind the NTU, which let spiders into the house until I found it years later and patched it up.

    God old human error was the cause of the massive Telstra outage. Guess in a way that's reassuring that a preventable stuff up was the cause, rather than bad actors. For the cause of such a depilating telco outage.

    @jswharton @lesstenny Costello sorted out labor’debt, privatized Telstra and a few more costly companies and went on ,now take fuckn notice!!!,11 consecutive surpluses,now it’s just reckless spending as the reserve bank says,labour has never and will not so equal that record

    @Ausbobsmit She is totally ******* mad .Watching her today belittling the Telstra executives for the outage the other day and all from somebody who has never had to run a business.She has never employed anybody or had to pay wages .With technology you can always expect things to go wrong ffs

    @Telstra well done. In an unprecedented occurrence after more than 40 years as a customer, Telstra staff - part of the transition team from ADSL to NBN - have, after a series of missteps, done everything single thing they promised to do yesterday. Thank you.

    @titchashen Yeah, once upon a time a change like this was tested in a dedicated test & evaluation lab that represented the network, including redundancy, but it looks like now Telstra, but hopefully not other critical service providers, don’t bother. Guess they don’t have test staff anymore
