@Mismash5 @Telstra Oh wow. Yeah that sounds like a bit of an overreaction. But it's clearly an issue with Telstra where they thought doing this was a good idea, implemented it and have completely ignored the feedback on it.

@Jml86_ Never understood why ppl went for Optus than Telstra...its a little cheaper, Yes, but Telstra had better coverage. Drove from Sydney to Port Augusta 11 years ago, broke down halfway down the drive and I was the only one using Telstra and with any network.

@Telstra Don’t bother. Need a clean broom sweep at @Telstra to fix the systemic rot. Hideous service has been the name of the game for decades. I’m only at Telstra now for rural coverage - which isn’t good anyway - & mobile WiFi. Phillipina/os don’t use Telstra. Might improve if they did?

@fanaticeel @peter__kay yep... I have been a customer with them since 1993 and will be moving to Telstra later this week.

Migrating to Telstra was a poor choice. 🙃

@domknight @Optus I worked for Telstra in a call centre and almost all the customers struggled to reset their modem, let alone access a 3rd service to confirm their identity. It’s impractical in the extreme, and would result in older/disabled/non first English speakers not being able to access.

So the blowtorch is still on Optus for stuffing up so many lives by loose data security, in no small part attributable to the incompetence of the idiot ******* whilst he was Minister- no comment on what Telstra is doing to assure us same won’t happen to them & their customers ?

@Mismash5 @Telstra Yep. This is one of the thoughts I had. Like sure, having linked accounts might be a good thing but sometimes it's really really bad. This just happened - all of a sudden the app had all these accounts pop up. I haven't talked to these people in years.

Hey @Telstra been using EE SIM card in UK with no issues. Today put Telstra sim back in so charged $10 a day. Says it’s EE network but only one bar. What gives?
