@unexpectedmaker @Telstra I've heard some pretty bad Telstra story's, but this one would take the cake! I mean, even if your service was soon due for termination, they shouldn't be doing anything that impacts your current service. I hope you've now lodged an ACCC complaint, and gone to the press!
@Telstra @abcnews I know it was not just @telstra , everyone on NBN is screwed, however NBN and Telstra are both government, and they decided to shut down internet services which were cheaper and more reliable and force NBN to justify $27 billion in tax spend (27=51 in 'gov' language)
Anyone else having problems with their mobile @Telstra outage, I restarted my mobile and now works fine

@oztish @Telstra Same here on @Telstra service. Both partner and I have same issue. Is not a contract payment issue as they are separate and up to date.
@Telstra SCAM ALERT ... have just come off the landline phone from some1 claiming to be my Internet provider saying my service would be disconnected in 60 mins if I did not press 1. Area: 3149 (Vic) Didn't comply with request.
@gcooke42 @findercomau Thanks for highlighting this risk. As a customer I expect @Telstra can tighten up the security required to prevent fraudulent sim replacements and ports. Customers should be able to add a phone password, required before sim replacement is issued and require sms reply before port.
