General alert. If receive a robocall advising that your landline service will be cut off unless ........ is a *scam*. Have dealt with three cases last fortnight all aimed at the older. In each case Telstra knows nothing about cutting off service. Robocalls have continued.

@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What a horrible experience with Optus. Trying to give them the opportunity to give me a deal before I leave them and at least price match, and they just give me the one on the website which is $15 extra per month than Telstra. Loyalty means nothing sadly.

@Avigncourt Exactly but explaining that and trying to get that through to them is the nightmare part. Also explaining to them what landline connections are for the modems that Telstra still sends. One lady my uncle spoke to didn’t understand what ******** a landline was.
