    @DHughesy Hey mate. Learn some history. Howard also sold Telstra for about $100 billion, but the saving on interest paid is less than the dividend foregone….it was a net cost. The Future Fund was established as a special purpose vehicle to fund public service superannuation. 1/2

    @Telstra Hi Ivan, people are not always home, hence why we ALL have mobile phones. Check Telstra history re Laverton. We do have an ongoing problem that gets patched numerous time per year. I do not get town slowness if I`m at/near a mine-site which has better internet speeds.

    @LisaLemon09 Thats good, the last thing you need is issues with telstra network. We are so reliant on mobile coverage, for our phones.

    Seems perfectly legit, reward people for failures …. 🙄 Telstra has paid its chief executive, Vicki Brady, $6.8m for the year ending in June, after docking 20% of her bonus in response to the network’s nationwide outage in July. The company reported financial results on Thursday. Its board met on Monday and decided to cut Brady’s bonus by $607,000 – but she still took home a $700,000 pay rise as she was awarded a total of $6.1m the year before.
