@TraceySpicer @Telstra When my Dads Health was declining,we had a note on his file that outgoing calls considered a priority, no idea if I have used the right terminology but whenever phones were down/blackout,he was always prioritised, would usually get a check phonecall from telstra checking on him

@elonmusk @SpaceXStarlink @SpaceX all good and going. We won’t need telstra **** anymore. Friend can’t even get any coverage an hour out with towers maybe 5-10kms away. 2022 when some thought we’d be the jetsons I can’t call overseas from my phone or converse 2 ppl not far away…

@Telstra Telstra has lost me as a customer we have been with Telstra since since 1980 when our first phone got installed. The Telstra brand and reputation in my opinion has declined significantly and Telstra has failed me

  • Auntie_Fran Fran Beckett, my humor "is an acquired taste" (@Auntie_Fran) reported

@adamajacoby That option does exist. If you are a Telstra customer, you can use Telstra Air, some other ISPs have similar systems, I think the original system it's based on was either fon or phon in Europe. I tether to my iPad (bigger battery than a phone), but that depends on your data plan.

@TraceySpicer @Telstra I found out my 80+ mother was paying $350/mth for mobile & home phone, on a 2 yr contract. Mobile was owned outright. She never signed a contract. It took months to fight, never had a refund & moved her elsewhere. She now pays $25/mth for same service.

  • vk2kmi Kimberly Olsen (@vk2kmi) reported

Hey @Telstra There never was any service at 1388 Bridgman Road. It isn't an outage. It's poor coverage. Can we get some soon, please? Do we have to be a member of #Scottythefailures church? What's the key here?

  • JohnKramer7 John Kramer (@JohnKramer7) reported

@Telstra Yeah, I've certainly got the feedback that "before June 2024" is the best anyone can say. We're not worried that 3G will close without an upgrade, but we're running on bandaid solutions until the upgrade happens, so info on timing would help us make equipment decisions.
